  • Pelican patiently waits for some fish scraps from the user of a man cleaning his fish. There are 2 piers in Panama and both cost $3 to walk them. The one closest to Pier Park is further out into the Gulf so it's more worth it if you can only do 1 pier. They do stamp your hand so you can go on and off it all day. On the pier a lot of people fish so watch for them hooks. From what I was told to fish in Florida you need a salt water and a fresh water licence in order to fish in the different waters. There are also signs posted on the pier about how to handle a situation if sea turtles get caught.

I was very pleased with the whole check in process. The condo was very clean and nice.. would come here again..

The unit is beach front and very spacious. I wish they did a better job cleaning, one of the bed linens had BLOOD. I contacted the company that night, they sent a set of sheets the next day. The walls around the light switches were dirty (looked like they were touched with dirty hands). The floors were also dirty, I reported it to SVR, I was told a work order was made, no one showed up. Furniture was worn, broken and dirty. Overall it was a very unpleasant experience in the unit. I paid five stars price for a dirty motel.

The Resort is pretty big and has many options for a family with different age groups. The only issue I had was parking is very limited. You are asked to pay for the number of cars you will have, but there wasn't a lot of space to park the cars.

The unit had 1 bedroom, on parking lot side of building. Shower needs plumbing work. Faucets all loose, drain drained poorly. Unit was hot with no breeze on the balcony.
