The place is comfortable and pool was fun and parking was bad and staff wasn’t accommodating a was rude about changing rooms .i liked it besides that .and had broken doorknob in one of their rooms when we checked in an door got stuck an it hit my two yr old in mouth an bled because of it .but the place as a whole is nice enough for the price .

Arrived for our stay. Check in was easy, but upon arriving in room, immediately noticed it was filthy, and room was definitely not as it appeared on property pictures. Old, dated and not at all worth the money. Immediately checked out. Took pictures of splatter on walls, cereal on the floor, bugs, splatter in fridge. Front desk was apologetic and understanding but unable to give refund. Did give us a corporate number so we are calljng that. I dont always have to stay 5star, and i rarely complain, but we left this place with me in tears and not wanting my family to stay there.

If you stay here in the warm months, make sure to pay extra for beachside. We stayed beachside and at times even this was iffy at parts. Just seeing the nonbeach side, you can definitely see they don’t keep up with the all around outdated services. Very amazing stay, not much seen of housekeeping and by the end of 5 nights it was definitely needed. Don’t expect to be able to walk very far around here. We walked to pier park one day and one direction and never did it again as the sidewalks would end it odd spots and would end on the way to the restaurants nearby. It was overall very enjoyable. These are just things we wish we could’ve known.

Room was not clean! Had to change out the bed covers due to dirty sheets. Toilets and tub wasn't clean. Had to pay for bags of ice, no ice machine. I won't ever go back.

Our family enjoys this hotel, very family oriented. We have came here for years. This stay we stayed 8nights and 9 days at the the Palmetto and we have never had a problem with anything! Recommend 100%

Nice place to stay. Our room was clean. We had a couple of maintenance issues when we first got there, but they were addressed immediately. Parking wasn't so great. It was across the road and the back parking lot was dark and kind of creepy. Otherwise the coffee in the lobby way awesome, and the ice cream bar was a nice touch. Staff was always friendly and helpful.

Property wasn’t too bad. But sink didn’t drain at first, shower was slippery and had terrible water pressure. I booked on affirm and still had to use my credit card upon arrival. I was told I would get the incidental fee back after checkout and only received partial back. They said the rest was charged for resort fees that I was never aware of. Check-in took forever, there was only one staff member working the desk. Washcloths were hard to come by.

My family of 6 just left Palmetto yesterday and we plan to return in the future! It was clean, the room was very spacious, the pool area was calm and relaxing and I loved how short the walk was from the resort to the ocean - it was so convenient with lugging all our stuff out there each day. The ocean view from the balcony was probably my favorite part. Also the staff was very friendly too!

I liked the premier room but the classic and deluxe wasn’t as good and they had no amenities like shampo and body wash in the premier and deluxe room and I liked the pool it was nice and kids pool and beach but the staff was rude when we had a late check out and kept harassing us when it was raining and trying to wait for. A cart and then they wouldn’t ever let us stay in the same rolm even if I paid about the same amount .it was more of a hassle there and the housekeeping was rude .but I was there with two kids .but other than that it was nice and parking was bad though not enough spots .

There are two properties, the beach front resort and the old grimy motel across the street. If you book a room across the street, you are in for a dilapidated motel 6 experience. All the pictures are of the Beach front resort so beware.
