Sleeps 6 with a king master suite, 2 brand-new full beds in the guest bedroom and a queen sleeper sofa. Includes seasonal free beach-chair service (2 chairs + umbrella), full kitchen, washer/dryer, and resort pools, a hot tub, indoor heated pool, gym, sauna, and spa. Walk or short drive to Pier Park dining & entertainment in Panama City Beach.

Family vacation

We have stayed at Ocean Reed before and it was great. This condo was nice, clean when we got there. Unfortunately we were not advised that there would be not be normal necessities provided. Unfortunately, with my husband and brother in law both having past back surgeries the beds were not acceptable for them and extras had to be purchased to try to accommodate them so they could try to enjoy their vacation. I did reach out to the manager of the facility and asked if umbrellas would be in the condo, as they have before with our previous stays. I was advised yes, but she would make sure they were still good and in working condition. Got the all clear. When at the beach the 2 umbrellas were completely broken and not usable at all, so I had advised the manager as soon as we seen the condition they were in. We then opted to use the outdoor canopy, to which when we started to set up realized it to was broke, inthen advised also of this as well. The upsetting part about it was,no never received a message back, I was completely ignored regarding these issues. Unfortunately, the family has decided they are not sure if they want to stay at Ocean Reef again due to this. There were other things, but what I stated above were the major issues.

My stay

Well it started out the door was unlocked, we did not notice no privacy at night in the living room & bedroom because the there were blinds missing when we close them at night. The bedroom is most important and to stay 2 nights with no privacy, living room door does not lock at all and some of the dishes were dirty and bathroom did not smell nor look cleaned on the other hand We enjoyed ourselves outside the condo but I did worry while in the condo. Inside was not that comfortable on the bed and cough. I’m sorry I have been in much better but Ms. Morgan was nice when she callled me back after the property manager call her also for me. I called to complaint soon as we arrived. I would not visit that’s condo again, sorry

Great location, assigned parking, great beach views!!!

This property was perfect for our sisters beach trip. Nice big balcony. Easy access to beach with no steps. It made it SO nice to get to the beach with wagon. The views were amazing!!! Walking distance to some great places to eat and not far from pier park and lots of shopping. Assigned parking spot was right near elevator which made coming and going be vehicle easy. Kitchen had everything we needed for our stay.

Great place close to everything. Only a couple of issues: Master bed…very firm! The vertical blinds in master and living room were missing several pieces so we had to change clothes in bathroom. Overall we had a good experience!

Really impressed with the unit in the Ocean Reef building. Covered parking was a BIG plus, beach access, and pool were very easy to navigate. The blinds in the family room and master bedroom were damaged. So basically blinds to keep the sun out. Other than that, place was great and would visit again!

Not recommend

outdated and not clean. Blinds were missing, smoke alarms were missing, light bulb not working (which maintenance person came in to change and broke one light bulb with glasses on chair , table and floor, we have to clean those again and again just to make sure no glass in there) Blinds were taken care next day and only one smoke alarm was taken care next day I will not recommend this place to stay.

Enjoyed our trip

We enjoyed our stay. The condo is a little dated, but it served its purpose. The master bed is very firm and the ceiling fans made noises which made it difficult to sleep. Also, the blinds over the doors to the balcony were broken, so you had constant sunlight, so no sleeping in. We had one issue with the guest bathroom. It had a sewage smell that was awful, but a maintenance man did come repair it. We loved the location, and it was VERY easy to get to and from the beach. The balcony is huge! We loved that. We ended up leaving a day early due to the weather. We would stay here again. I’d rate it 7/10.

Great place and beautiful beach

The location is really nice, and the floor where the condo is at is good, too IMHO. It's high enough to be away from the street noise but could still feel the vacation beach. The only unsatisfactory besides not long enough staying was the cleanness. At least two of the pillows were having disgusting smell. We therefore also washed the bedding before sleeping on it and noticed the mattress had many food like stains. It's basically very aged mattress. The lady who manages the pool was awesome. She woke up early to clean the pool and took care of all guests nicely. Along with the garage securities, they are all very friendly. We will come back for another vacation if possible.

Great stay, but small washer and dryer.

We enjoyed our stay and found the space plenty big enough for or family of five. The balcony is very spacious and has a great view of the beach. The blinds in the living and bedroom areas could use a little attention. In addition, the washer and dryer are very small making it difficult to wash beach towels and bath towels. Overall a great location.

Awesome location and beach area

This property was in awesome location to restaurants, stores, etc. The pool and beach area were great. I had a slight issue with wristbands snd they were delivered to us within 30 minutes of me calling the phone number. I will say that some areas of the condo weren’t as clean as they should be- some of the vents near the floor were covered in dust, and the bunk bed was rickety and the screws on the ladder of the bunk bed had to be tightened by my fiancé. Periodically, the bathroom for the bunk bed room had a strong sewer smell. My fiancé is a plumber by trade and said the wax ring and collar need to be replaced as the toilet is allowing fumes in. My only other issue was there were no regular sized spoons and no large cooking pans in the kitchen. I know a lot of people don’t cook on vacation but we do and it’s one of the reasons we stay in condos instead of hotel rooms. Irregardless of the issues above- we truly loved the location, beach, pool and balcony. Overall a good vacation spot.😊

Great condo, excellent location.

We had plenty of room for 4 people. Really love the large balconies and the easy access to the beach. Great location, we were able to walk across the street to play putt putt golf and the little restaurant right beside it. Also like the location as there is a street about 50 feet from the entrance that will take you yo the bypass and you can skip a lot of the front beach traffic. Would definitely stay there again.

A couple small issues…

Most everything was good. There was a lot of mold/mildew on the shower curtain liner in one bathroom. The other bathroom had a leaky toilet … they came and fixed. Many of the panels on the vertical blinds were missing which affects privacy. There also seemed to be an lingering sewage smell in the afternoon / evenings. The listing made it sound like it was walking distance to pier park. It is not. Other than those things, everything was great and in order. I like the assigned parking spaces and the pools were clean and great!!

Fun weekend

Everyone that I dealt with at forehand rentals was very easy to deal with. For the price of the condo we were pleased. The photos need to be updated as some of the furniture has changed in the living room and on the patio. The condo is a bit dated needs new paint a new showerheads but for a weekend girls trip and for the price it did the job. I would rent from forehand Rentals again

Good location. Convenient to pier park.

Great location. Getting around was a breeze. Elevators can be troublesome due to the speed and one was out of order. Blinds need to be replaced, literally half of the shades were gone so they literally blocked zero light. The only panels that remained ere the ones to the side of the door which made the blinds completely useless. Two smoke detectors were missing. Those need to be the unit!!!! The reserved Parking is a plus. Had additional parking across the street which was convenient. No luggage dolly for loading or unloading, this made it extremely difficult. The condo was convenient on the 6th floor…… we took the stairs most of the time, the seniors in our group was forced to take the elevator. Overall, nothing bad to say other than the blinds MUST be replaced as well as the smoke detectors!

Excellent location

Great place to stay. One elevator wasn’t working had to wait quite often. Plenty of beds for family. Loved the large patio could’ve used a few more chairs and cushions. Would stay here again!
