April 2025 Stay

We had a wonderful time and enjoyed your beautiful place. Riley was very helpful with checking and Alex at the beach did an awesome job. The elevators were so fast this year and it was great to have the pool open. Much improved over our visit last year. Thanks for a great place to stay!

Tropic Winds/Greta beach rentals

Great place, easy to check in and super clean. bummer that it was double red flags most of the time, but at least we had a lovely big deck to enjoy the beach/gulf. would def book this place again.

Excellent vacation spot

even though not a new condo, excellently maintained. No long delays for elevator. Pool little small. Enjoyed the covered convienient parking.

Wonderful Home Away from Home

Property as listed and pictures. Many accessories in the kitchen pots, pans, spatulas, kids. We were very pleased. Large balcony, large tvs we barely watched as the beach was in plain view and so easily accessible. Greta’s, Riley was extremely helpful and available even during our delayed check in. Amazing will visit again

Fantastic Beach Condo

Overall, I recommend this vacation rental. Reviewer Comments: We have been vacationing in Florida and renting various beach-front condos to stay in for eight or nine years. This condo was the best we have ever rented! Everything about it was first rate. The condo was super clean and was equipped with everything that we would need. The decor was beautiful. We spent many hours on the huge balcony that had comfortable, comfortable furniture. The check in and check out was easy. Thank you for sharing the condo with us. We had a wonderful time.

Great family vacation

The condo was wonderful - beautiful, very clean and had everything we needed. We loved the comfy patio furniture! The only thing to note: Tropic Winds doesn't allow children under 12 in the hot tub (even with a parent/guardian). We had a couple rainy/chilly days that made this tricky as our 10 year old wanted to be in the hot tub with the rest of us, so one of us had to stay out with her. The condo and beach placement were amazing and we would absolutely recommend the rental! I'd only suggest that the age limit on the hot tub be included so families can know ahead of time.

Really good, not great

Rating Details: The property manager was very helpful. The vacation rental was clean. I was very happy with the location. I was very satisfied with the condition of the vacation rental. Overall, I recommend this vacation rental. Reviewer Comments: The description of this being a “Platinum” unit is a bit of an exaggeration. Yes it’s a nice unit with more renovations than most but it wasn’t out of this world nice and could have been cleaner. The kitchen floor had not been mopped and there was hair in the shower, on the sofa, on throw blankets. The patio is great. It’s not right off the elevator which is nice. Reserved parking space away from traffic is also nice, but the property parking garage is extremely tight and hard to drive up and down. The beach chairs and umbrella provided and set up by the professionals is beyond fabulous. Great experience with Grata’s and will rent from there and the in the tropic winds community again.

A fantastic place to relax

Overall, I recommend this vacation rental. Reviewer Comments: This was our second time to PCB and it was wonderful. The condo had everything you would need. The views from the 19th floor are breathtaking. We spent a lot of time on the balcony. The beach is perfect, white sands. We found a lot of great shells (more shells than we found at shell island actually). The water was so clear that you could see to the bottom even though we were in the water up to our chest. From the balcony, we saw a turtle, dolphins, and a group of 6 sting rays. The two chairs and umbrella on the beach were great - just make sure you check in with the guys at the hut to reserve your chairs! We also loved that the second bedroom had two queen size beds so everyone in our group had a comfy place to sleep. Yes, the parking garage is tight, so the smaller the car, the better, but it didn’t stop us from venturing out. The location is far enough from the Pier that is quiet. Make sure you bring your own beach towels (they’re not provided). We hit the Goodwill and found some beach toys and a beach chair. Restaurants we recommend: Gulf Coast Burger Co. (they deliver your shakes by robot), Thomas’ Donuts, and The Deckhand Social (they have a pool to swim in while you wait for your food - just ask to sit on the pool deck). If you need a pick me up, Beachin Nutrition is the place to get your all natural energy teas and protein shakes. Overall, we will definitely be coming back and booking this place again! Riley called us on the day of our check-in to let us know if our plane got in early, the condo is ready. The service they provide is the best!

Overall, I recommend this vacation rental. Reviewer Comments: Everything was as advertised! The room was very clean and Tropic Winds complex is so well kept. We stay there every summer because it’s so nice and you know what you can expect. We are big on things being clean and this place was clean! The property manager even came and opened the hot tub at 5:00pm so me and my son could take a dip! What an awesome guy! Our room had recently been remodeled and it so well done. Our master shower was beautiful! We will be staying in this room again!!! The only bad thing I’ll say is that 1 elevator was down but they were working on it . Even though only 2 were working, we didn’t struggle with waiting a long time for an elevator. We had a great trip! Thank you Tropic Winds.

Gorgeous view of the ocean!

Overall, I recommend this vacation rental. Reviewer Comments: My siblings and I had a wonderful and relaxing vacation at this condo. Deck furniture was nice and it was overall a great condo! The king size bed was very comfortable, the sheets were awesome, but it was very high and hard to get in the bed. I loved the beach chairs every day and this section of Panama City beach is nice! Close to restaurants! Parking is ok. The parking deck is very tight. We liked the set up with 2 queens and the king. The condo was clean but I did notice when I walked on the floors barefoot my feet got dirty. However, the floors appeared clean. Overall we had a great time at this condo.

Great Stay!

Overall, I recommend this vacation rental. Reviewer Comments: This unit was beautiful, updated, and well-stocked with anything one needs to have a great time. Most importantly, the unit was bright, nicely furnished and very clean. I loved the renovated kitchen! It was well equipped, including all the upgrades that make cooking away much easier. You had everything you needed and then some. Another plus was everything in the condo was in perfect working order. The water views and sunsets from the oversized tiled balcony were simply amazing. Another convenience included are the Keurig coffee pods, all paper products, toiletries, oversize luxurious towels, and the wonderfully soft robes in the striking master bath with the walk-in shower. This condo is all you need for an amazing stay in Panama City Beach. Greta’s Beach Rentals were awesome and customer oriented.Thank you for an amazing vacation, we will be back and would highly recommend this unit.

Great Unit

Overall, I recommend this vacation rental. Reviewer Comments: The unit was great, clean, beautiful. The master bed was very high. My kids needed a chair to climb onto it and I had to literally jump on it but the sleep was great but if you’re a senior you will have difficulties getting into it. The furniture was great and the TV in the main room was a nice size. The balcony furniture was excellent and has an outdoor tv that we really never used. The unit had all the kitchen supplies needed and the keurig coffee pods were a nice addition although we preferred to brew a pot each day. Greta’s was super responsive if they were needed for anything but we had no issues that were of any real concern but rather questions. The building itself was very quiet for the time we went (2nd week of March). 1 of the 3 elevators were out of service the whole time and they were not synced together when you pushed the button. I loved the steam room which was beside the pool. The ladies washroom by the pool had the lights out and we I had to hold the door open to give my daughters some light. Overall the unit was great and so what Greta’s but the building itself is average when it comes to being managed.

2023 Fall Break Family Trip

Reviewer Comments: I rent condo units through Greta’s Beach Rental Company, and always at Tropic Winds, when visiting PCB and find all of the staff at Greta’s to be very helpful and accommodating. The units they represent are well-cared for and the descriptions/pictures are accurate. This trip I rented two 2-bedroom units on the same floor for our family. Since I try to go to PCB at least 3 times a year, I am usually looking for different configurations of bedrooms/bathrooms. Great’s has a nice selection of choices. I trust Greta’s and find they have never let me down.

October 2023 Stay

This is our first time in the panhandle area. The condo, grounds, and beach are beautiful. I spend a lot of time picking our units because being older and larger seniors furniture is important to us. Only real complaint is the beds in both rooms were so high I could not get in them. This was dealt with the 2nd day by Riley, who is a gem. He always took care of us in a kind, swift manner. A couple of nit-picky items that would have made a stay a little more enjoyable: Parking garage is difficult to navigate. Our assigned spot was on the 4th floor although the first floor was mostly empty. We found ourselves not wanting to go out because of navigating the garage. The pool was cold all week. Most adults would not get in although it is advertised as heated. The condo provided luxury bath robes but not beach towels. When you fly it is hard to pack beach towels so you buy cheap ones. I don’t think we have ever stayed in a condo that didn’t provide beach towels. Again, Riley is a gem and a 5 star.

Great! Clean!

We arrived late. The room was clean, went straight to bed. The owner has the unit stock with all you need in the kitchen for cleaning. Also, he furnishes Keurig coffee of different varieties. Huge balcony with comfortable furnishings. The 4 beach chairs with umbrellas that us free with the unit is a money saver. Riley with Greta's Beach Rentals was great. Good communication and very helpful. They have an office on the 8th floor.

Wonderful Condo.

This condo was in immaculate condition! Super clean and well decorated, it had everything we needed for a comfortable stay. The shower upgrade in the master bedroom was top notch, and we loved the stone tile detail out on the spacious balcony. We’d def book this unit again!!
