Very good visit. Nice hotel, friendly staff, great breakfast buffé, entertainment every night and clean. If we would comment something negative it will be that the pool was too warm and the staff in the reception was not very friendly, we barely got a smile during our week.

Excellent hotel for adults, staff are wonderful happy and helpful, food is excellent, facilities and space around the pools and gardens is perfect, not over crowded beds are 10-15 feet apart from others. Room spacious and fabulous

This property is in an ideal location for the short walk along the coast into Paphos. The dining options at the Hotel are brilliant and the food is amazing. We stayed on a half board basis as we have previously done in the past. The staff are excellent, friendly and very helpful. The outdoor pools are very good (We didn’t use the indoor pool but it looked good) and there is nightly entertainment should you require it. I would highly recommend this hotel and without a doubt, we will return! Thanks to all the staff at the Athena Royal Beach for making our stay so memorable.

A comfortable stay. Housekeeping were excellent ! In room hairdryer was of low quality and needs updating to reflect 4 star hotel rating. Planting around the grounds reminded me of my grandparents hot’ colours and shrubs scheme from the 1960’s! Could benefit from a more contemporary design.

Food all very high standard, we were all inclusive and the choice was different each day. Hotel and grounds are lovely. View is great but the beach is rocky so not really able to access the sea.

The hotel was excellent , great value for money. The position was just right . The staff were amazing in all areas.so helpful & always smiling . VIP was definitely worth it . Sea view room was lovely. Perfect for adults only . Only one negative. The pool was freezing , too cold to go into . Such a shame as everything else was great . I’m sure we will return . Thank you all for working so hard to make sure it was a happy experience.

Well laid out hotel. No rush or queuing. Ample spaces out sun beds. Lovely breakfast. Ample parking in hotel car park. Waiter service at sun beds is a real bonus. Hotel and rooms are functioning well but could do with a facelift.

Lovely hotel but emails not replied to.

Once we arrived we were impressed. The buffet breakfast and dinner was excellent. The only issue we had was pre arrival. We emailed numerous times to enquire about a taxi/car to pick us up from the airport and no-one replied. We ended up being fleeced by a taxi to the hotel, which was a disappointing start. The hotel apologised and were able to book us a taxi back to the airport but it was frustrating.

I've been many times in this hotel and have seen ups and downs this hotel was going through. It seems now they've managed to restore their service and immage to it's best and - the water temperature of the inside heated pool has finally got warm :) Keep it up !

Approaching the hotel it looked well cared for and once inside it did not disappoint. We received a smiling, warm welcome, and given a very pleasant drink. We paid for a side sea view room but were upgraded to a full sea view. The room was perfect, had everything in it you could think of, even bathroom scales and a shoe horn. A bottle of wine and plate of fruit was totally unexpected. The choice of food at breakfast was second to none, as were the evening meals. The entertainers were lovely and there were plenty of choices of activities. Every member of staff wanted to pleas. There were plenty of smiles and lots of generosity on offer. Certainly an experience we shall remember for all the right reasons.

From the time we arrived at the Hotel, staff were so friendly. Plus we got an upgrade to a one bed suite which had amazing views.The hotel was spotless and a credit to all involed. The room was immaculate and cleaned every day by very plesant staff , who are a credit to the hotel.The food have to say was excellent and staff. The bars were also excellent and staff . We had a Cabana overlooking the sea which was fantastic and a phone if you wanted bar service. Overall it was our first time in Cyprus and picking the The Athena Royal Beach just made it special. Its about 30 min walk into paphos harbour where there are plenty of bars and restaurants. Just down from the hotel you can get a bus ito the harbour for 1.50 euro. We had dinner in the hotel every night as the food was excellent. Just want to mention the staff again who were 10/10. Thank you for making our two week holiday special. We will be back as to be honest it was the most relaxing holiday.

Stayed here for 3 days. Staff very friendly and attentive. Rooms were spotless and beds comfortable with great pillows. The food choice is huge and absolutely delicious. My brother and I loved this hotel. We were trying to work out why it isn't 5 stars. There's even a bus stop opposite the hotel and another a few 100 meters up the road. The only negative was around allergen listings on food. I have an allergy to soya. I was told that the bread didn't contain soya but when I persuaded the chef to check the packaging, it contained E471 which is soya lecethin and therefore I shouldn't have been told there was no soya. It's a common error I've found in the UK and wherever I've travelled and I suspect/hope that anyone with a severe allergy double checks in the same way I do. But it would be so refreshing if restaurants could get this right. I lose trust in all of the allergen listings once I know there has been at least one mistake. It's tiring and awkward all round to have to question food labelling, but better than being very ill or even dead. Nevertheless I would definitely stay at this hotel again as would my brother.
