"Beautiful traditional ryokan, in a lovely quiet town"

"This was a wonderful experience. We were asked to check in between 2pm-5pm. We were glad to have made it around 3. From the entrance outside, the lobby, and the rooms it was a beautiful ryokan. The facility was impeccable, food was good, staff was super nice and my room was so great. I was only there two nights and regret not staying longer. I will definitely come back to this onsen. "Charming, very well run traditional Inn with great amenities and features. Great location with valley views and easy access to old town and a short walk to the Hida Village. Laundry facilities are great. Caretaker/owner is wonderful. Definitely eat the traditional meals offered (western and Japanese options), they will be a highlight of your trip!"
