Unique Hotel. Great Breakfast and exceptionally friendly and helpful staff. Rooms clean and well maintained. It was a joy to stay here. When I am back in Paris, I will definitely stay here again
The hotel was really lovely, great decor, all amenities we would need in the room. However, the room had so many mosquitos in it, we have been eaten alive!
Babel was so clean and great ambience. The staff was friendly and accommodating. The area itself was nice to walk around especially to get to the Parc de Belleville and nearby shopping. Loved the experience and would book again.
A nice, small hotel in an area with less tourists. The room was comfortable but a bit small. Helpfull staff but unfortunately the restaurant was closed.
We loved our stay at Babel Belleville. Out of the tourist path but still easy to access the rest of the city (2 minutes to the nearest metro!) it is an ideal location for those who want a more authentic neighborhood experience. Our room was clean and beautifully decorated and we appreciated the gorgeous Babel toiletries. Our only complaint is that one morning a fire alarm went off - we rushed out of our room with a group of other panicked guests to the reception who didn’t even look up. We asked what was going on and whether we should be exiting and they said “I think it’s a test”. It was disappointing to not have been told this would be happening (if it was true) and to be treated with such nonchalance when we were still in our PJs and bare feet. Otherwise would definitely recommend.
We loved our stay at Babel. The hosts were excellent and friendly, our room was quite comfortable. It’s also very conveniently located close to the metro. The Boulangerie around the corner (Le Petit Grain) has phenomenal sourdough croissants. Definitely would love to come back.
Gorgeous hotel! Every inch of the décor has been so well thought out to look beautiful. The breakfast was lovely, room cosy, staff very welcoming. Metro is a minute's walk, and on the street outside on Tuesday morning we found there was a market - only wish we'd stayed longer
Had the most wonderful stay- I was travelling solo for business and it was my first time abroad on my own as a wheelchair user so was a little apprehensive- the staff were all so brilliant, the hotel was completely accessible; beautiful bathroom and room. Restaurant and bar were also delicious! Will definitely be back!!
I really enjoy led my stay at Babel the room and facilities were clean and comfortable and the staff were friendly and helpful. As I’ve been to Paris many times I didn’t mind the location but I feel as though if it was my first time I would probably enjoy a more central area. Having said this, the metro and bus is right outside and you can get to tourist areas easily and quickly! The price was also very affordable, so I would stay here again!
Unusually welcoming atmosphere as you enter through a cafe restaurant (of good quality). Excellent service. Friendly staff. Excellent breakfasts. Good bar. Highly recommended.
Babel Belleville is a lovely hotel with an unique style. It is very clean and a minute wallk from Babel tube station so it was easy to get to every place to explore. The staff at the reception was super helpful and friendly, it was a pleasure to talk to them. I don't think Belleville is a great area but we did not feel unsafe. I would have loved having a small TV perhaps.
Definitely would go back as the hotel is a great vallue for money.
Overall a good experience with the hotel.
It was charming and chic.
The restaurant for lunch and dinner is great, seemed very hip and the food was fantastic - I’d skip the breakfast on my next visit.
Make sure you explore the neighborhood - there are some gems.
The staff seemed annoyed by my lack of French language skills and didn’t try to hide it.
This was my first experience in Paris and if i ever book another trip best believe ill be booking with them again. As stated before the staff were very hospitable and accomodating to this non french speaker. My host with the thick thighs also turned my eyes to french woman. Should i ever take a second wife im coming back to get her in paris. Where the woman are as beautiful as the city.
The hotel has a lovely interior with interesting design. The rooms are comfortable and inviting.
Bars from neighbouring properties to stay active late and can be noisy. The morning drinks options in the room are limited and although the options are interesting it would be nice to have them replenished and other options.
Breakfast unfortunately was a little disappointing. Options that were included were limited and small. Staff were slow and service a little unclear.
On the whole though staff were pleasant and friendly. Would still recommend the hotel but maybe go somewhere else for breakfast.
