Amazing stay! The staff were incredibly friendly and helpful, the rooms were clean, comfortable, and well maintained. The location was perfect—within walking distance of so many great restaurants, cafés, metro stations, and the beautiful Sacré-Cœur Basilica. Our stay at Hotel Marena was the perfect, inexpensive, little base of operations in Paris. It was a long walk or ~€15 to get to the heart of Paris. During the heat wave, it was especially nice to have cold, efficient AC (even if we needed to put down a bucket to catch the drips). The staff were all kind and helpful. The bed was comfortable, and the amenities were fine, especially considering we weren’t in the room very much. I would recommend it if you’re particularly budget conscious, but would suggest something closer to downtown if that is what you’re there for.

Fantastic location and comfortable big room which can be rare in Paris. The shower leaked all over the bathroom as there was no door/curtain but not a big deal. We booked the property because of the aircon but found it to be insuficient, it barely worked at all which is a shame. If it worked well it would be a 10/10 hotel for me!

Good location, closer to Cadet station, lot of bakery shops nearby, 2 supermarkets at walkable distance, McDonald’s also at a walkable distance. Overall good hotel with many food options to explore. There is a famous gelato shop close to McDonald’s, don’t miss it.

The room was clean and nice, we expected it to be tiny as is typical for Paris, but it was actually a bit more spacious than expected, which was nice. We had a room on the 5th floor with had a typical Parisienne view, and the lift was helpful. There was AC but it was not very powerful during the heat wave. A kettle was provided with instant coffee, but this was not restocked, and dirty cups were not replaced until we asked. The location was great, lots of nice brasseries and bakeries in the neighborhood and walking distance to many places.

The hotel was in a good location, close to Montmartre and good restaurants. The bar next door is always very busy and noisy with people blocking the side walk which was a bit annoying but not a big deal. Our room overlooked a courtyard where they were doing construction, noisy but we didn’t spend much time during the day in our room. Rooms are very small, bathroom even smaller, but clean and recently renovated. The breakfast has very limited options, would not pay for it but it was included in our stay. Overall a good location for our 4 night stay in Paris!
