The location was great! However the bed and pillow were not comfortable at all. Some of the staff were very nice but when I checked in the person did not even explain the services and things available in the room. Overall, the hotel was very old with small rooms and not comfortable. But if you want a great location and have somewhat reasonably clean room its a good choice. The lobby was nice as well.

My wife and I have had a lovely stay at the NewHotel Roblin. You can't do much better than the location, right behind Place Madeleine and the subway stop, which are both not far from Rue de Rivoli and the Place de la Concorde. The interior of the hotel is very charming: old school, done well. I also really liked the room, big enough so that we did not feel cramped. The beds were wonderful too. Warning: I had trouble with the pillows, they were very soft and I have neck spinal problems (so needed a firmer pillow). They had nothing besides this super soft pillow. So I wound up having to use the airplane pillow I took for my flight to France. So keep an alternative pillow handy!

We stayed in a superior double room with a queen bed. It was spacious and tidy/clean. The location was also good, surrounded by many restaurants and cafes. The breakfast buffet had a lot of varieties and we loved it. The decoration of the hotel was also outstanding.
