Family Parisian Experience

We traveled with our two daughters 9 and 11 from the states and loved the location and vibe of this rental. There was plenty of room in the flat for all of us to rest and relax. It was very noisy from the cafes and streets below. But the location was part of the draw for us. Opening the windows and sitting with a glass of wine and chocolates from the shop below watching everyone pass by was a highlight. The living room is quit bright at night if you're sleeping on the pull out. The curtains in that room are not room darkening. The shower is also quit small but we managed. Thank you for a lovely vacation!

Apartment is clean and in a great location. I have given my stay a 1 star rating because it’s been 2 well over 2 months since our stay and the property manager still has not returned my security deposit. In July, they told me they processed payment. Now they say they “are working on it”.

Great Fun location

The location was bustling and enjoyed opening the window and feeling part of the town in the center of everything. At night I needed earplugs because when the windows were open there is a lot of street nose, especially on the weekend, but I did sleep fine. My husband wasn't bothered by the noise. The fans are a must as there is no AC. The bathroom and shower are very small as pictured. Unfortunately, we couldn't locate any silverware. We did feel safe. Other than that it was a quaint place in a good location for all of Paris. Thanks

Family trip to Paris

Apartment was fine for our family of 5. The street noise made it hard for my kids to go to bed, but it was really hit the weekend we were there and needed to have the windows open.

Great location

Excellent location. Small but lovely place in perfect location. No problems at all. Some people might not like the street noise since it’s in the middle of nightlife. We enjoyed seeing all the activity and occasional street performances from the windows.

The ideal Paris experience

This location is incredible. It’s in the middle of many big sites in Paris. The windows overlook a fun area. It’s pretty lively are that didn’t sleep until about 2am. They have fans to keep air moving since there isn’t air conditioning.

Location, Location, Location

We can not say enough good things about this location. It was a short walk to many sites, and we felt very safe here. The metro was just down the street, and I loved looking at the people walking the quaint streets below the apartment. The door and entry felt like we were in a Harry Potter movie set. The only negative, was the shower was very small, but that is a Europe thing. The apartment was bright and airy, we absolutely loved it here!

Lovely neighborhood, 2nd floor windows overlooking postcard view of Paris cafes, cobblestoned streets .. loved the sounds of the city and people. Great experience. Listing says elevator, but there's none. Steep curved staircase. Be very careful. Also, there's only a Nespresso machine, you need to buy coffee from grocery shop( several in neighborhood). We had bottled water, but Tap water is cleaner than in NYC. The best location for walking through the best bits of Paris, shopping, eating, souvenirs, ( delicious chicken mayo grocery sandwiches for 2.5 Eu - and unbelievable Bordeaux chateaux Caillou for under 10). Sofabed is decent, pillows, main queen bed and blankets are comfy. No balcony in 1st floor apt, only large french windows where we sat and enjoyed Paris walking by. One loud truck each morning for 5 mins, not a bother for me. Will definitely return here to stay in this specific flat. The pictures are of another apartment, VRBO needs to match listing and correct photos. Blackout curtains helpful.

Ideal location

The apartment couldn't have been more centrally located. It was within walking distance to metro, attractions and lots of restaurants and bars right downstairs. However, being so centrally located also had its downside. When we were there in the middle of August, the weather was in 90s. It got really hot at night with windows closed. We couldn't open the windows due to noise from restaurants and bars and light from the street lights pouring into the apartment. The apartment is on the 1st floor. The apartment also only had one fan and the person sleeping in the living room pull out bed got really hot. Another fan in the apartment would have been ideal. Other then this, we had no complaints about the apartment.

Poor security, fan doesn’t work - all talk but no action from host.

The only positive is the location. We were broken into and robbed in this apartment, luckily when we weren’t there. Requests to change the door pin code were not actioned despite promises. As per other reviews, the apartment is hot with one non operational pedestal fan. We flagged this with the host when we arrived without resolution in the 6 days we were there. Due to the summer and the need to keep the windows closed due to the noise from the restaurants, it was incredibly hot without a fan overnight. I would have thought that this would be an easy fix. The apartment is smaller than what we expected with one double bed and the sofa beds for other 3. This was ok, but not what we expected and the sofa is stained. You might want to find somewhere else to stay if you value your valuables or sleep.

A family stay in Paris

This property is extremely well situated with short walks to Notre Dame/Ste Chapelle and the metro (including the RER B straight to/from the airport). The listing was identical to the pictures and the property was very clean. We visited with my spouse and our three children (ages 12, 10, and 10) and the apartment was very comfortable for the 5 of us, with two of us on the bed, two on the pull out sofa, and one on the pull out twin chair. The property is located in a pedestrian area that is heavily trafficked and so it can be noisy at night when younger kids might be trying to sleep, but nothing that a little white noise and some melatonin can't help fix. We loved our stay and it was so nice to have breakfast from the nearby market and an occasional dinner at home (some truffle ravioli and pasta sauce, cheese and crackers was fantastic) and a nice break from the crowded restaurants. There is a lovely vendor of paninis and crepes up the street and a patisserie as well for morning croissants. Wi-fi was fantastic and communication with the property manager was prompt. We did learn that you may need the master circuit switch located in the bottom box by the dining table (a shower, the toaster, and the coffee maker could not all happen at one time on the circuit). The kitchen is well equipped for easy meals at home. The pharmacie a block away was an easy place to get a travel-appropriate rapid antigen test for a flight back to the US. The window nooks made for a wonderful place to sit and watch people and Friday night brought us a beautiful choir singing just below us.

nous avons voulu joindre le gérant mais le manuel n'est pas à jour : le numéro de tel est erroné et nous n'avons eu aucun contact de même les adresses pour déposer les déchets sont fausses car car il n'y a pas de poubelles à ces endroits Nous avons cassé une assiette à dessert il manque des voilages dans la chambre et des rideaux occultes dans le séjour pour cinq personnes il faudrait une chaise de plus (pour prendre un repas il faudrait aussi les notices explicatives pour utiliser le lave vaisselle, le four et régler à la baisse les radiateurs bonne literie et ling impécable, mais manque de patère dans la salle de bain pour les serviettes et dans le séjour pour les manteaux manque également d'une lampe à coté des lits pliants pour lire le soir autrement décoration de bon gout, facile d'entretien nous avons passé 3 bons jours
