The room could better be described as a trainwagon. It was long and narrow. I have never lived in anything similar. We were offered another room, but it was very small and would not have had room for our bags ( 1 extra bag). If you travel light and don’t mind unconventional living solutions, this could be your thing. Cleanliness was good.

La chambre était propre mais vraiment toute petite et pas de vraie salle de bain : la douche comme les toilettes étaient dans la chambre juste dans une cage en verre, donc aucune réelle intimité côté toilettes. Convient pour une personne seule, mais pas adapté pour 2. Mauvaise insonorisation : on avait l'impression que les toilettes du voisin du dessus tombaient dans notre chambre à chaque fois que la chasse était tirée, chambre contre l'escalier et nous savions qui passait quand.

The front desk staff was wonderful and the room was very clean. But the room was hot, even though i lowered the thermostat. The plumbing in the building is very noise and so when the people in the room above me or adjoining me took a shower or flushed the toilet, it was very loud!

Le personnel a été très gentil et accueillant. La chambre ainsi que les espaces communs étaient propres, et les photos en ligne reflètent fidèlement la réalité. La chambre comportait également tous les articles annoncés (séchoir, bouilloire, verres, serviettes, savon, etc.). Je l’ai trouvée très confortable et bien insonorisée : on entend parfois les allées et venues dans le couloir, mais rien de plus qu’un immeuble résidentiel. L’emplacement, en plein cœur du Marais, est absolument parfait : proche de très bons restaurants, de magasins et de nombreuses attractions. J’ai adoré le quartier et je m’y suis toujours sentie en sécurité en tant que femme voyageant seule. Une très belle expérience !
