Nice residential area. Laundry and Supermarket nearby.
The unit is a hassle to enter/leave – four (4) coded entry points. As we arrived, encountered issues with third lock (lobby main door to elevator entry area). Two calls and an email with no response from the Mgmt. Company. After 35 minutes of standing in the lobby (with luggage and provisions), gained entry via a tenant leaving the building.
Strong cigarette odor in the unit.
Online representation did not reflect the actual unit.
Dirty, broken or not working items (Kitchen floor, bathroom light, bathroom and bedroom doors, TV).
Electric off – Freezer had defrosted, and Refrigerator and Kitchen floor was full of water.
No trash cans or trash bags.
Mgmt. Company was contacted (by phone and email) multiple times, starting with challenge to enter the unit. When they did get back to us, the response was “the cleaning crew serviced the unit prior to your arrival.”
Mgmt. company did not own any of the listed issues, offer to fix or compensate for any inconvenience. Overall, they were unresponsive with follow up or remedies.
Notified Mgmt. Company in the late afternoon of Sept 19th (after one night stay), that the unit was subpar and that we were leaving. Informed them that we would be requesting a partial refund.
The Mgmt. Company reiterated that the unit was cleaned before our arrival, and we should return for the remainder of our stay. They chose to ignore the items listed above.
Unfortunately, some of the items could have been remedied with a maintenance visit (to fix a light, check the cable tv, wipe down and clean the floors). The Mgmt. Company chose limited response and no offer to fix the listed items.
We offered to pay for the one (1) night we stayed but we were billed for the four (4) contracted nights. No refund, reimbursement or compensation was offered in any way.
Stay here if you like – but you will need to air out your clothes for a day or two once you leave.
