“What a great location! We stayed in the main lodge which had a beautiful room. We walked by the cabins which looked great as well. Will book those next time to try them out. Lake is beautiful and no shortage of kayaks and canoes. Lot's of people fishing off the docks. Staff were really kind and helpful and went out of their way”

“The air conditioner in our room did not work, the lights above the sink were so hot that you couldn’t stand at the sink with them turned on. The tv didn’t work. The internet in our room did not work very well”

“First impression - dead plants and unkept flower beds in the front of the hotel and dirty windows. The hotel is rundown and had an odd musty smell which was layered with frebreeze. No exhaust fan in the bathroom, or sink plug. We had to request towels as there were none in the room upon arrival. Furniture and fixtures show signs of excessive wear and large visible stains in hallway carpet. Bathroom shower had visible cracks in the base. Green algae in the pool area on the tiles. Guest……

“Each cottage has its on dock and we spent days swimming and floating off ours on a clean, peaceful lake surrounded by beautiful scenery. There are lots of stairs to climb since the cottage is perched far up from the dock but we got a great workout.”

“Carine was so friendly and we felt so welcome. Captain was on the same property as the main house though because of the sound of the river it was like we were miles away. There was a power outage the day we checked in, but they kept the generator on so that we could turn the light on and unpack. And clean. Clean, clean, clean clean. I have never in my life been in a house, so clean in my life!”

“Very peaceful property and the hosts were clear, communicative and answered any questions (ahead of time and on site) promptly. The property itself was stunning - everything had been updated (appliances, washrooms, bedrooms, games room, TV, hot tub, etc) and new while maintaining a classic and warm cottage element.We were able to comfortably and easily host 16 guests and each one was able to have their own space and also congregate all together to enjoy meals and games and time together.
