「10 out of 10. The complex has a pleasing layout - surrounded by padi fields and a small pool. Sitting in lounge chairs, we saw many birds (rails, herons and egrets, and swiftlets). 「This was such a lovely place to stay. The staff was super-accommodating, helping me arrange a climb of Mt Ijen and transport. Though it was out of town, it was in a lovely location and still only a 30-minute walk to the beach, where there's a great lobster restaurant where you can lounge for the day by the beach. BB also had Wonderful espresso drinks with breakfast. Lovely touch. 」

「I love this area, it’s much quieter and bland in with the local village and people. The cabins are great and the views are excellent. The only thing is that the cabins can get bit too hot, better ventilation or more sufficient fan would make lots of difference. The staff was without fault. Very happy overall.」

「This hotel is in a beautiful spot but it lets itself down with lack of real cleanliness in the bathroom and almost no furniture in the bedroom (nowhere to put anything). However, the breakfasts are nice and generous. The other meals in the restaurant are too expensive, however. The staff are very sweet and generally do their best, but there are always one or two trying to make a deal or an extra buck. For example, I was charged Rp62,000 for laundry - the same amount in Sanur cost me Rp24,000....
