“Nice and quite”

“Secluded. Great place to stay away from the busy city life. A good place to relax”

“well...as the quality of all the aspects of the hotel, the price is way too expensive. The hotel is super old. it was clean in the public area but the room didn't smell good, smell like humidity and old. the all facilities are way too old. I dont wanna use the tub at all! the shower water temperature was not steady. The bed was really hard and uneven, seems something broken underneath. there were many facilities in the hotel campus but they were all very old and not maintained or renovated……

“The property is great if you’re looking for a relaxing experience. It’s a small property but really nicely updated with modern amenities but still keeps the local charm. On-site guard is really courteous and helpful. It is a property overseen by the bigger Urban Wave Resort. You’d need to pick up the key from there and a helpful staff will guide/accompany you to the location of Balai Balatong. Had a pleasant stay even though only for a night to catch an early flight at the airport.”

“the breakfast is very good. the coast is perfect for people who hate crowds. although the coast is very rock, the beach is still good for relaxation and body dipping in salt water especialy in early morning where the salt water is warm and calm. it forms little lagoons for baths. I love it.”

“The property is very outdated and if this was somewhere else, the property would be condemed. There is mold in the ceiling. Spiders and bugs in every lightbulb. The bathroom reeked of urine and I found out that there was a leak from the toilet going to the bathroom drain when you flush. The stench was unbearable. The sink is out of alignment from the sink and draining into the bottom of the stairwell. The bed linens smelled liked they were not washed. The AC was noisy and made it unbearable to……

“Water pressure in the washroom was so low. Smell was bad in the washroom. In other word sanitation was bad.”

“The best part is the location beach front. The staff were not too friendly and they are good at saying no to their hotel guests. There’s construction everywhere. No reliable television service. Food is mediocre for the price. They charge for everything even for ice. They need more training in hospitality because we felt not too welcome during our stay.”

“Early pool access was a plus! Buffet breakfast was wonderful -very tasty and generous servings-coffee🙌 nice and strong!!! Staff was so friendly and willing to help. Onda Restaurant could use some more training- very inefficient-we asked for glasses for water ( and water) 5+ times with different staff and several members of our party (9 of us) asking. At one point I went up to the counter to ask and still nothing for a bit. Food was tasty! Found a dead cockroach on the bathroom floor- otherwise……

“Our stay at the Balay Travelodge in Paoay was great. It was clean and the staff was polite and very helpful. There are lots of shops and food stalls near by, a market too for clothes! Thank you for making our stay wonderful! We will be coming back! ”

“Bed is old, my husband fell on the side of bed because the side of bed is falling, they put together the bed closer together They dont clean shower everyday, you can see the white stain of soaps at shower room I asked for a coffee creamer on our 3rd night and 4th night but never came. Outdoor pool there is a frog swimming at night on our first night, so my daughter never go to the pool because she’s feeling scared and yucky. Breakfast longanisa is so dry. The only good is the fried rice i can……

“The beach is very close by and the air conditioner worked fine. The room we originally rented was tiny with no place to sit. We upgraded to a two bedroom cottage which had a TV but in my opinion is overpriced. The hotel is in need of renovation especially the guest rooms. The pool was empty and not available while we were there. Mgt did give me a 17%? discount for the inconvenience. The restaraunts menu had plenty of options but only had six items available.”

“I want to be fair. this is a budget hotel. The main issue was the excessive street noise. we checked in and within 10 minutes checked out. If all you want is a bed with little expectation to sleep then this will work ”
