Host texted to cancel our reservation when we were 5 minutes out. Said he double booked and wanted us to call him to arrange refund. Sounded like possible fraud, so we called VRBO for help. Except for automated confirmation and link to online checkin, host did not respond to any of my messages on VRBO over several days regarding parking and if online checkin successful. Sent several messages requesting how to obtain keys including to his personal phone. VRbo found us a place to stay and will help with refund.

The apartment is located in a Palazzo with a charming courtyard complete with a kitty cat who seems to live in the courtyard and greets you upon arrival!
