“Very disappointing stay. We had booked a two-night stay and drove several hours to the hotel, but unfortunately we had to leave again on the same evening without staying a single night.
The first room had a very unpleasant smell of smoke and sewage/manure, and the air-conditioning unit was leaking water down the wall. We complained immediately and were moved to a second room, which had an extremely strong faecal/sewage smell. We were then given a third room, located directly next to the second……

“We were met by the lovely Hugo who upgraded us to the very lovely Gîte. We had pre booked dinner as there is nowhere walkable nearby and we wanted a drink or two! Hugo prepared us a super feast and kept us entertained with a music quiz and plenty of wine. Then we went for a swim in their fancy indoor pool. A very memorable night in a charming place. Highly recommended!”
