「Took over an hour for them to check us in. And then I made sure the other travelers in our party wouldn’t have to wait as long and that their rooms would be ready. Two of them had their rooms ready when they arrived. The other ones had to wait 30 minutes to an hour also. When we got into our room. There was a wet spot, dog food and hair still on the bathroom floor. Housekeeping came up and cleaned it right away, but it was pretty gross walking into that. The bed really comfortable. 「I haven’t stayed at that good of a hotel in a long time. This iconic hotel may be well over 120 years old but you won’t find a cooler place to stay if you are visiting the Stockyards. I love the fact they still give actual keys to your hotel room. From the valet parking to hotel check-in and the onsite H-3 Ranch restaurant, it’s so convenient to stay here and the price is cheaper than the big chain hotels!! I’ll be staying here again. 」

「Pool was cold. Reading lights were out and maintenance didn't address. So, I got on floor, opened panel and plugged them back in per direction of staff. Otherwise, a very nice place. All staff was very congenial. Clean.」

「Enjoyed my stay with the complimentary breakfast! My only concern was that staff did not come in to change our towels but it may have been due to being short-staffed. Overall, I would recommend this hotel to anyone!」
