Kayak to Maplewood’s sand beach or head over to Big Lida and pull up to the dock at Maple Beach Resort for the best burger around.

If you feel like going for a hike, Maplewood State Park is just minutes away. Refresh you batteries, relaxing in quiet away from the hustle and bustle of town, located on a private road, you’ll be able to completely enjoy, magical sunsets, quiet star gazing, and may spy a deer or two wandering about.

Winter ice fishing at its best. South Lida is know for pan fish like Crappie and Perch and has Walley, Northern, and Bass. Grab your coffee and enjoy your beautiful sunrise from large picture window, venture out to the brisk morning air from the patio, or head straight to your private lake access and get your line in the water.

Your cozy cabin has everything you need for a relaxing stay and just because you are enjoying the simple life doesn’t mean you can’t stay connected. There is good cell coverage, Wi-Fi, and 3 smart TVs for your convenience.

Everything was very good. There were a couple things that were needed though. The handles on the fridge were loose, and the bathroom needed towel hooks and a small table to put personal items on. Otherwise excellent!! We enjoyed the comfort in the bedrooms and futon. Very clean. Zanya spoke with us on our way out and she was eager to make those improvements! We will be back.

Great cabin on a quiet lake

We rented the cabin because we had a 4th of July party and a 50th wedding anniversary to attend in the area. The Hosts were extremely welcoming and we were always welcome on their beautiful dock. My 7 yr old granddaughter learned to handle her fishing pole independently and will never forget this weekend. Great fishing, even from the dock. The cabin had everything we needed, was clean and comfy. We hope to return for another visit soon.
