Great ski trip

Went up for the weekend with two families. The house was perfect for our ski trip to Nubs Nob. It was the perfect size for the 8 of us, clean, and well appointed.

Ski weekend with four families

Great location for skiing at Nubs. Very spacious for adults and kids to spread out. The lake would have been fun if it had been cold enough for safe ice. Looking forward to another stay in the future.

Great place with friends

This place was perfect for 4 couples and visiting northern Michigan in July. The house was clean and the layout was ideal for our group. We also enjoyed playing shuffleboard in the evenings. Mouse Jaw Junction was a short walk through the woods and the food was great. Great time overall!

Great place for a family!

This was great for our family of 6! Lots of space to spread out if we wanted, but cozy enough to be all together too. It had everything we needed for all the cooking we wanted to do. The swing by lake was a favorite spot of ours. Response time from the owners when we had a small issue was timely.

Week at Larks Lake Lodge

Spacious, quiet setting. Everything was as advertised. Had some problems with the oven, the property manager was responsive and refunded some of our money for the inconvenience.

Girls weekend trip

The house was perfect, exactly like the online pictures! It was very clean! The yard and view was beautiful! The ride into the city, and island was very easy, not far a all! Perfect for a vacation, family trip, girls trip, etc! The communication with the property owners was great! Definitely recommend staying here!!!

Peaceful and Convenient

The house was lovely and had an amazing deck to relax with views of the lake. Convenient stores are about 7-25 minute drives. 25 minute drives to Mackinac City and Petoskey. Would definitely return for another getaway

Great house with a great view!

This property was very nice. It was easy to rent, and work with the property manager. We loved all the activities there was at the house. My family had a lot of fun. And the view was fantastic! The only downfall is that we went during June and the house doesn’t have Air conditioning or any window units, so it gets very warm during the day in the house, even with all the fans going and windows open. Overall I would definitely recommend this house!

Pellston Lake House

We had a great Thanksgiving here. There were two families with kids and there was plenty of room for everyone. There were alot of outdoor activities that we weren't able to do because of the weather, those would make a summer stay here even more enjoyable. We still took out the canoe and paddleboat and made a couple of trips out onto the lake. Overall we had a great time. Especially liked the bar area, where the adults were able to have a fire and play shuffleboard over some drinks.

perfect relaxation and adventure on the water

We found this rental to be clean, well-equipped and super comfortable for all 8 of us. We purchased new inflatable paddle boards and learned how to use them and when we fell off were able to walk to shore (we found larks lake to be fairly shallow all over). We also loved exploring the paddle boat and kayak out on the lake (we didn't try the canoe or the water mat). On cooler days we loved the indoor games. We loved the fans and the clothes line.

Very nice property

This is a very nice property in a lovely scenic location. The lake is beautiful. The house was very clean and spacious. the grounds were beautiful. We enjoyed our stay. This property is located quite a long distance from a grocery store, at least an hour from the south and close to 45 minutes or an hour to the north. One issue I had is small, but still notable for us. The listing advertised that laundry detergent and dish detergent was suppied for listings with those facilities, so I did not buy any on our trip to the grocery store before arrival. When we arrived I found 2 pods of laundry detergent and 2 pods of dishwasher detergent and a nearly empty bottle of dish soap. This would be for 7 guests and a 4-night stay. Not nearly enough detergent, especially since we were asked to, upon our departure, run a load of towels and run the dishwasher!! The oven also smoked when we started it because it needed to be cleaned. I suggest that if the listing says that dish detergent and laundry detergent is provided, that enough be provided for at LEAST one load a day at the bare minimum, especially since it is not convenient to run out and grab detergent because there isn't anywhere close by to buy it.

Adorable peaceful cabin

We had the best time at the cabin, it was warm, cozy, and beautiful. The views outside the window were stunning. Check-in was smooth, and we were able to check in sooner than the designated check-in time. Being that we were traveling with 3 kiddos, and had a 7 hour drive, it was SUPER convenient so get in the house an hour earlier instead of spending another hour in the car. Will definitely return!
