「The Islands Resort was ok. Beautiful golf course, clean common spaces, very friendly staff. The room we stayed in was clean, but very outdated and had paint chipping off the walls. We knew the spa was closed prior to coming. We did not know that their upscale restaurant was also closed prior to coming. We ate at the bar and grill the first night, which was fine, but typical bar food. We planned on a nice dinner the following night only to find out it was closed. The bar food was too greasy for...

「When i got there, at first glance, the room looked and smelled really good until i got to the bathroom. The toilet and shower were not cleaned from the last people who stayed because there was poop stains in the toilet and hair in the shower drain and a dried up soap bar on the ledge of the shower. The garbage had used Q tips and kleenex left in it. It was gross.」

「Our stay was fine, we had a large room with the king bed, it's perfect for a couple nights stay and you don't want to spend a ton of money. It's just the older hotel.」

Literally made us wait 22 minutes plus additional 15 waiting in line to be told our 4pm reservations weren't going to be ready until 6pm. At 630pm Maggie at the front told us we may not be able to check in until about 930 or 10pm because cabins weren't ready. She was inhospitable and actually walked away...
