Pennsylvania Golf Hotel

"Room was clean staff were all friendly. Parking is $45 for valet overnight. I recommend self parking in the allied garage next door to the hotel which will save you some money. Room was 78 degrees upon arrival set ac to 68 and hour later it was 79 degrees. HVAC was not working. Brought it up to front desk and nothing could be done. Breakfast at restaurant in hotel is good. Do not believe there is any complimentary options available."

"It is obvious that the staff is trying hard but there are obvious budget restrictions that adversely affected the stay. It took 5 requests to finally get an extra blanket for our room, the room was superficially clean but there was a feminine hygiene product under the dresser. At 8pm on a Friday night there was only one restaurant/bar on the FAR side of the property. The water park was nowhere near 84 degrees and at one point there were extremely cold drafts, and the water was luke warm, even in the hot tub. The water park closed at ridiculous times -- 7pm on a Friday and Saturday! This severely limited our visit and we only made it once in three days as a result. Younger kids probably would still have a great time, but my teens were not impressed and we will probably not try this one again unless it's just for skiing. Again -- the staff and managers were excellent and tried really hard, but it was abundantly obvious that they were extremely short staffed and that they were running a shoestring budget -- not what you expect for a thousand dollar weekend."

"Good central location to walk to interesting places like a few bars & restaurants, including the Hard Rock Cafe, Maggianos, the Reading Terminal Market, the Convention Center, and if you’re in good shape you can even walk to the Art Museum, Rodin Museum, & Franklin Institute, Our room was modern & clean, with a big tv, a comfy bed, & a large bathroom with a big shower, good water pressure, & large, full bottles of toiletries mounted on the shower wall. The staff was friendly too. "
