"We can't say enough how much we enjoyed our stay at Scott's cottage. It's lovely, the lake is beautiful and peaceful. There is enough around that you can get any place you want to go (meals, hikes, drinks, bookstore, etc) without too much trouble, but there's a canoe, crystal clear swimming water, books, and more at the cabin... so you don't really even need to bother going anywhere. 10/10 would stay again"

"From the house to the views, this VRBO is absolutely a winner. Cozy and absolutely clean. Impressed with the lake and how clear the water is. There are nice hiking trails near but with a very good cook about 4 miles away”Shiela’s Treats” makes amazing catered food that gives you more time with the family and fun. Seeing Eagles while we were on the lake was a plus as well. Acadia National Park is a must drive too. Overall an amazing trip and well worth it. "
