Nice location.

The property was nice. Unfortunately, the AC went out and the condo owners were supposed to bring us fans, but they never did. We had to go to Walmart to get something to cool the condo. Other than this issue, it was a great location.

We had unwelcome guests, cockroaches!

First and foremost, we stayed here only for one night of the four night stay. Our first morning there we discovered cockroaches in the kitchen. They were living in the oven clock & dishwasher. We immediately contacted vacasa and it took hours before anything could be done. Eventually, we were moved to a different vacation rental all together. The Baywatch location was a great local. However, staying in a room with cockroaches was unacceptable. This rental lacked comfortable furniture, and desperately needed an update. The fact that the company had come in and professionally cleaned that space is shocking to me. Other features about the space that were misleading was the size of the rental. The pictures make it look significantly larger than it is. The same is true for the pool. The pool is extremely small, but pleasant to be in. Lastly, getting to the 4th floor was no picnic. I felt like I did a hardcore workout going up 4 flights of stairs with all of our luggage. This was not hidden from the listing but very unfortunate. The building desperately needs an elevator. Overall, we were extremely disappointed with this part of our stay. Vacasa moved us to a different location. & we lost proximity to the beach. We had to drive 15 minutes every day to get back-and-forth from our house to Pensacola Beach. If customer service would have been better I would have asked for my money back but it was impossible to talk to anyone that could help.

Disappointed

The AC could not cool the room. It was 84 degrees during the day. Had maintenance come and he stayed there wasn’t anything he could do. That the AC was working just couldn’t cool the condo. I ended up leaving a day early.

Needs maintenance

I really liked the location and the condo amenities. The condo needs TLC. I know post Pandemic might be the reason not to have curtains that are not worn and torn, No drain stoppers for the tub or sinks no backs to any of the remotes. Plus both sliding glass doors don’t lock. And the rubber seal around the freezer is coming off

Excellent View

You really can’t beat the beautiful bay view! Super short walk to the beach as well. The condo itself is nice. Minimal seating if you have a large group but otherwise very functional. TV reception was a bit spotty but WiFi worked well. A few things could be attended to (the balcony door stuck on us a few times and a towel rack in the bathrooms would be useful) but overall a very nice stay!

Great complex, ok unit.

We love Pensacola Beach. It is laid back but still has plenty to do and has amazing beaches and great restaurants. The property was what we expected as we have stayed here before. Great location. This unit was just ok. Nothing was not as advertised but the condo needs some tlc. There are also many simple amenities that could be provided to make the accommodations much more more comfortable. It could have been cleaner. The air conditioning was not working when we arrived. The filter was thick with dust and dirt. I would think the property manager would make sure everything was in working order prior to guest arrival but things happen. All throughout the process of getting it fixed we had to initiate all communication to get updates. The a/c had been turned off by the repairman but once fixed nobody told us it was working again. Our fourth call to the property manager on day five we were told it was repaired. I think the lack of communication was the worst part of the stay. We have rented at this complex before and worked with much better management companies. I will not rent through them again nor will I stay at this unit.

Beautiful view but property needs work

We stayed from Saturday to Saturday. The property overlooks the bay. The view was great. The pool was clean and uncrowded. There is a pond with ducks and turtles. There is a long dock on the property where you can see fish and other aquatic life. There are kayak and paddle board rentals available. The internet speed was good. The Televisions worked and had smart features. The couch was newer. Water pressure is great and plenty of hot water. Washer and dryer work fine; albeit small and can only use one or the other. Wasn’t an issue though. More good than bad. Now for the things that I see as negatives. If you adhere to the posted signs, you are not supposed to use the shore area at the adjoining property. This area is showcased in the photos but that is misleading. In March, the area was not busy. No one said anything about us going to the adjacent beach. If they had, I would have been ill. The condo is accessed by climbing about 50 stairs. If you get winded easily, have a ton of luggage, or are in poor health, you should pass. The condo needs some repairs and updates that make it suitable for price. The vent fell off of the top of the microwave right off. It would not reattach. The plumbing fixtures on the kitchen sink need to be tightened. The cabinets need some refininishing or maybe just some Old English on the scratches.The cleaning staff is not very attentive. The beds needed to be cleaned underneath and the shower curtain needs replacement. The Queen bed in the second room needs to be replaced ASAP. The slats are broken. The bed will not support an adult. If our kids were over 100lbs combined it would have probably collapsed. Broken slats found beneath the bed. A cheap bed frame would easily remedy this. The mattress is shot. In the greater bedroom, the mattress is worn out. The frame also needs replaced due to being shored up with some 2x4 pieces. In the larger bathroom, the sink drain appliance is broken. I discovered this late at night and had to use some tools I had to fix it so that It would drain. The drain in the tub is the same way. When the drain is depressed, it will not release. Leaving the tub full of water. There is no vacuum cleaner. I would have loved to have had this to help keep the place clean as there is no shower or hose between beach and room to clean off sandy feet. The greater bedroom also needs blinds or privacy drapes. The current ones are see-through. So be mindful. Many of these things have been stated before

We had a nice time in the condo. It was exactly as advertised and suited our family's needs. However, as our stay went on, there were little things that were very frustrating. The light fixture was missing the cover in the inside foyer. The cabinets in the kitchen were extremely full of amenities including the light fixture from the foyer, which is great but I had no place to put our unrefrigerated food. There was only a set of 4 for eating utensils, but an occupancy rating for 6. We have a family of 5 and all shelves in the closets were full. We had to get creative on clothing storage. Between the 2 bathrooms we only had 1 towel bar to work with, which was on the shower door. Painting supplies were left in the condo. The painting was also sloppy with splatters on the masterbed comforter. With all that being said, we would stay again. Very quite. Thanks! P.S. was not necessary to communicate with the manager.

We had a great experience, beautiful view, very comfortable!

We had a little trouble trying to get into the door with the lock box but it was more so user error than anything else and the property management were quick to our aid! Very well-maintained property was such a beautiful view we all had a great time and are looking forward to coming back and booking again soon!

Nice condo

The condo was nice and in a great area. The steps to the condo was a little bit of a hassle. The dishwasher did not work properly. You could only use the washer or the dryer, you could not use both at the same time. Great view of the Bay Area and short walk to the beach.

Vacationers BEWARE!

This property was not at all like the listing. Beware! The listing showed photographs of a soundside beach. The photo was actually a photo of the condo complex next door. This property had a seawall with rocks. It did have a strip of sand in front of steep steps to the water. Not kid friendly nor anyone looking for a restful vacation. After climbing 4 flights of board steps any view wasn't worth it. We spoke with several people vacationing there that had nothing good to say from their condo wasn't clean to they were not informed of lack of elevator nor were they informed they would need to drive to any beach.

I would not recommend this unit; location was good but the unit was run-down and needs updates.

This unit does not appear as it does in the pictures. It is in need of serious updates - not just for aesthetics but use of the room is limited. We never felt we could get 'comfortable' in the unit. Much of the furniture was worn and broken-down - mattress in the master bedroom is very uncomfortable and in desperate need of being replaced. Our first impression of the facility was poor and didn't really improve once inside. When we arrived, the front door was rusty, the lockbox with the room key wasn't locked, and there were old rusty screen doors laying next to the front door. Once inside the rooms were dark, many light bulbs were out (we changed the ones we could reach), some fixtures weren't working fully. There was a hole in the ceiling of the the master closet into the attic (the attic cover wasn't in place) which allowed heat to drift into the room and didn't make us feel safe or secure in the room. There were spare/old fixtures in the top of closets and drawers, back porch carpet was torn and the cushions on the patio furniture was torn and worn - to the point that they were not comfortable to sit in. The TVs are outdated, we had to search for the remote for living room TV and then had to purchase batteries so we could use it. Curtains in the main living space and master bedroom were not curtains - they were sheers - offered NO privacy between whoever was in the living room and the bedroom and the sun rises on the patio-door side of the master so we were awoken with bright sunlight early each morning. (It was vacation - sleeping in a little past sunrise would have been nice.) The bedding for the pull-out couch wasn't the correct size (single sheets for double-bed), the extra comforter for the bed was dirty (we went out and purchased a blanket for them to use). The comforter in the guest room was also dirty - visibly dirty. (We used beach towels in that room for blankets.) We were happy with the location of this unit - it was easy access to the sound for boating/swimming/kayaking, to the Gulf for the beach and water, and within walking distance to restaurants. The public space for this facility was also nice - grounds were well-kept (not fancy, but nice), there was ample parking close to the unit, the pool area was nice, the beach and pier clean and neatly maintained. Other units in the facility looked to be in much better condition. We'll be back to Pensacola Beach but not to this unit.

Perfect Condo

We loved this condo! It was gorgeous, clean, and in a perfect location. I would highly reccomend this condo for Pensacola visitors. We hope to stay again in the future.

Soundnn Side

We enjoyed the views from the sound side. Needs a new couch and chair. All the TVs are old and only has a few channels. WI- FI went in and out. A lot of steps which we knew.
