Pros: The size, location and amenities included with this home are awesome for families. The amenities for the beach & pool was a big plus as well. The host was amazing and quickly responded to all questions and concerns. Cons: This is an older home with signs of possible previous water damage (there was a strong mildew smell in both downstairs units).Although the couch in living room was large enough to seat alot of people - it is worn out and super uncomfortable to sit on. It NEEDS to be replaced ASAP.

If you need space to be together, but desire privacy as well, you will totally enjoy The Sunny Side! Comfy areas both in and out to lounge and chill. Close proximity to the beach, great pool, well equipped in every indoor/outdoor area and so many extra touches for comfort and fun, will have you loving this home. Host answered every question quickly in a genuine, caring manner. A special place with long remembered memories!

Great place to stay!

Excellent choice for our family of 13. The pool and basketball hoop were in constant use by the teenagers and adults. Having the beautiful beach within short walking distance was great for paddle ball and football in the sand. The house has two separate living quarters on the main level giving all of us our own space for downtime, especially a 3 month old. Can’t say enough good things about the host Delania. Always answers questions promptly and truly has her guests best interests at heart. We will definitely stay here again when back in Pensacola area.

Cousins Decade birthday trip

Girls trip for a long weekend. We had NOLA family that drove with lots of groceries so we were set with a vehicle and F & B. If you are flying in I would suggest renting a car or reaching out to Pensacola Pete for transportation. The house was perfect with a fire pit, pool, lots of beds and trundles. Comfy couch and large table For games and puzzles. Clean towels and bedding. Lots of personal Space for multiple families.

Last week of Summer

This was an amazing house to stay at! It was very kid friendly, which made it very nice for a family stay. The pool was a life saver once the kids got too hot at the beach. Our kids enjoyed having their own room with the bunk beds. Allowed them to have their own space while we stayed in the bedroom next to them. I loved the stocked kitchen!!! They had all the cookware we needed to cook meals each day. The dual outside showers were perfect to rinses off from the beach and then again after a long day at the pool. They also had so many things at the house for us to do. Whether it was watching the sunrise or sunset on the balcony, backyard games, chilling in the chair swings by the pool, or riding the bike. I highly recommend this family friendly house. We loved our stay here!!

Perfect Wedding Weekend

We rented this home while in town for our daughter’s wedding at Pier Suites. It was perfect. The home provided separate suites for guests, so everyone had privacy. The bride and bride’s maids had plenty of space to get ready together. Having four full length mirrors was a plus. This home also provides some great places to hang out-large dining table inside, large dining table on upper deck, large dining table out back, pool, fire pit, and an outside room with a ping pong table. It was also exceptionally clean upon arrival. Additionally, the owner was very responsive. We didn’t need anything from her during our stay other than for her to resend checkout instructions, and she did that very quickly. She also emailed upon our arrival to make sure everything was okay and provided her phone number for us to text or call if needed. Overall great experience from booking, checking in, and checking out.

Easy and Delightful

Absolutely easy and delightful! We had 8 adults and 5 kiddos, ages 3-13. We had plenty of room in the common areas, dining, outdoor and indoor areas. We were originally worried about the kitchen being too small, but it turned out to be just right. The rooms were perfect and the bunk room was well needed. We loved how spaced out the rooms were for “noise control” with the kids going to bed earlier than the adults. The bottom rooms are set up as apartments, which was perfect! Having a three-year-old I was worried about him getting access to the pool without an adult but there is a latch at the top of the door going out to pool area!! Talk about letting a mama get good sleep at night! There are lots of games, sand toys, towels and a well needed wagon for the beach. We did bring our own beach towels, but there were other towels available for the pool. The coffee offered was absolutely delicious, I actually went home and ordered a box. We’ve never had a beach house that wasn’t ON the beach. Turns out this location was perfect!! The walk was maybe two minutes and getting all of our stuff to the beach was just right with the wagon. The private beach access was perfect and there was a handful of families people on the beach, but everyone was spread out. The neighborhood was calm and quiet as well. Just on the road from delicious restaurants and activities as well. Overall, we loved the house and would love to go back. Thank you for offering your lovely home!

This was our second time renting this vacation house and it was perfect again. We are locals and hosted our family and celebrated another sweet 16. The weather was perfect the entire weekend and we all enjoyed the pool. Plenty of space and house is stocked with everything you could portably need. Very spacious and plenty of sleeping room! Highest recommendation for The Sunny Side

The Sunny Side provided a superb setting for our extended family’s inter-generational get-together. The layout, including two downstairs apartments and a cute bunk room, provided spaces for each nuclear family to get away, yet be part of the overall action. The kitchen was well eqipped and withstood some serious holiday cooking. We opted to have the pool heated, so even with highs in the 50’s it was comfortable and a favorite play spot for all the generations. Ever the gracious host, Delania responded instantly to our every question and request. If extra stars were available, we would award them to The Sunny Side!

We LOVED the space. We had a large family of four units who came together for a family vacation and this home was perfect for what we needed. Every family unit had their respective space and every thing we needed, was already thought of and in a cabinet or drawer somewhere. Had the best time at The Sunny Side! Plenty of room, steps from the beach, and close to everything. The layout was EVERYTHING! Basically 3 houses in one. Beds were comfy, every beach toy you could think of, and 4 fridges to hold enough food for our crew to last 6 days. Pool was just the right size to cool off in after a day at the beach. This house worked perfectly for 4 families. Each family had their own sleeping and bathroom accommodations. Kitchen was well equipped. The pool, fire pit and patio areas were awesome.
