The Dunedin was the perfect place to stay in Penzance. Duncan and Shaline were wonderful hosts. Breakfast was plentiful and cooked to order which was a great way to start the day. The room was large and fitted with everything we needed. It’s a great location to walk anywhere in Penzance and also to drive or train anywhere else in western Cornwall. I highly recommend The Dunedin.

This was our first stay at the Dunedin and we were absolutely delighted with the location and comfort of this Victorian guest house and the dedicated hospitality offered by its hardworking owners. We feel that we have discovered a lovely base in Penzance to which we will return in future.

Just loved my stay! The hosts were incredibly welcoming and very accommodating. The room was located on the first floor, which was great, was spotless and very comfortable. The highlight was the breakfast. The French press coffee was delicious; choice of fresh fruit was extensive. The eggs and toast were cooked to perfection. There was plenty of on street parking available and their location is an easy walk to downtown and the harbor. Highly recommend for either solo travelers or couples looking for a cozy location to stay while exploring Cornwall.

So glad we chose the Dunedin

The owners made our stay like a home from home. Nothing was too much trouble from booking a taxi to helping understand the vagaries of the Canadian mobile phone that resisted my efforts. Really clean, comfortable and welcoming. We stayed two weeks and felt sad upon leaving. Many thanks are due.
