“Lovely house situated in a very quiet area. Property was very clean and comfortable, well maintained with good furniture. Plenty of parking area. The swimming pool is great and kept clean with the owner working hard to keep it that way. Unfortunately, poor weather in September meant that we could not take a dip very often but we could relax outside. The pool table in the lounge was very inviting and well-used in the evenings. The donkey and pony in the adjoining field were friendly, particularly……

La salle de bain n'est pas aussi spacieuse et confortable que les autres pièces, mais l’aménagement extérieur est venu compensé cette petite déception et l'ombre du tilleul et la piscine ont très agréablement agrémentés nos vacances en famille.Encore merci Remco et Gerralda pour avoir gentiment répondu à nos demandes.”

“Nous sommes très contents de notre séjour. La maison est très agréable par ces temps de canicule et la piscine est un plus incontestable. Nous avons apprécié la localisation de la maison qui est très calme tout en étant proche du centre de Périgueux. À partir de là. Nous avons pu rayonner dans le Périgord vert et le Périgord noir. “Très propre. Clé récupérée très facilement grâce au boîtier. Deux chambres et un séjour agréables et une cuisine bien équipée et fonctionnelle. Manque juste un vrai espace pour manger si le temps ne permet pas de manger sur la terrasse.”

“We had a fabulous 2 week stay at La Maison du Bonheur. We couldn't fault the beautiful property and surroundings. The pool was perfect for the hot weather we experienced. Cathy and her family were great, generous hosts. Getting a tour of their bee hives was a particular highlight! Overall, would highly recommend”

“The owner was nice but the accommodation was not clean enough and offered no privacy - with the large windows looking on to the owners house and compound where the their American Pit Bull Terrier has free range. Three nights booked but we arrived late and left early the next day.”

“Good rental and position. We parked in front of the house ( and not to the right hand side as instructed) but even just backing out the car was a tricky business. It would perhaps be helpful for future guests if there was a fence or rope to restrict access. The neighbours were helpful in pushing our car!”
