「The property itself is gorgeous and a great place to spend the day with family. To stay overnight, I wouldn’t say it’s the most family friendly. We were in a 2 room suite with a steep staircase in the middle of the room. The One room with a twin bed didn’t have a door, so we ended up having to have all of us in one room to ensure our toddler didn’t run out and down the steep staircase at night. The homes are older and don’t do much to help with noise, sorry to guests below. Surprised how well...

「Hotel was close to the event we were supposed to to attend but got rained out. How ever, price seemed high compared to what was offered with the hotel. Bathroom was extremely small. Secured door did not lock from coming from the outside of the hotel. Breakfast was ok.」

「The staff was excellent--knowledgeable, very helpful, and friendly. The room was spacious and clean. The sink could have had more space for toiletries. Did not keep the breakfast items stocked the first day, but the second day was fine. On the whole I was very pleased with the whole experience.」

「They’re getting one star because Expedia doesn’t allow me to give them less than that. The entire hotel is in poor condition. The first room that I was given stank and had mold growing in the bathroom. The entire hotel smells like cigarettes and humidity. The towels were stained. There was only conditioner and body wash bottles and they were 1/4 of the way filled up. Place sucked.」

「I am giving one star because this is a false booking. The people who run the Danville are no longer available, there is no website and no number to call. The property is now run by someone else, who was wonderful. 」

「I didn't like the realm at all it's stunk it was supposed to be a handicapped from far from it the AC heater unit didn't work properly the bathroom door was a sliding door which was stuck. Got the front desk in there they couldn't fix it it was a bathtub not a walk-in shower for handicapped people who can't get in a tub like me the dad was not helpful it was too hard and high we booked the room for 2 days and left after first day could not get a refund」

「We couldn’t have asked for a better place to stay. Maple Hill is a piece of living history and it was a privilege to stay there. The owners are excellent stewards of this absolute gem. Our room was huge and very comfortable. Every detail in the house is stunning. We took time to look at everything inside and outside so that we could absorb the beauty of the home and property. And the breakfast was BETTER than a restaurant! Getting dessert in the evening was such a lovely treat and a romantic...
