"Well appointed accommodation, good quality fittings and comfortable bed , annoying issue with toilet that did not flush , changed room new room had no crockery , TV was not working, changed batteries next day all ok. Simple housekeeping issues clearly not supervised. Easy to fix though , breakfast highly priced, found good breakfast nearby at almost 40 % less. Shop around"

"I stayed for 3 nights while attending my sons university graduation. I loved the location of this property a quick walk away from Church of the Holyrood and Stirling Castle. The walk into the city center is 5 minutes downhill. The hotel is located in an old School house so I was fascinated by the building. There is no air conditioning in the rooms so it was a bit warm at nights but that was not unexpected. The meals in the restaurant were excellent."

"Our overall experience of this hotel was great. Highlights were: the amazing food we had for dinner. A great deal of effort in both flavours and presentation ensured that every course was delicious. The food looked high-end and the service was excellent. The dining room is also beautiful, tasteful and full of character. The hotel itself is lovely, charming and characterful, with lots of landscaped grounds for our wee dog to explore. Our room (in the Riverside building) was comfortable and well-appointed, and had a balcony with a view of the River Tay. The room (and this building) was a little tired, but the hotel made us aware of their intentions to renovate, so this can be forgiven, and is more than made up for by the fantastic attitude of the staff, who were friendly and attentive, and the incredible food. We will definitely visit again."

"We had a very enjoyable stay at the Scone Arms. The hotel is currently undergoing renovations, and the improvements already completed look fantastic. Our room had been fully renovated and was clean, modern, and very comfortable. The bar area has been completely updated and has a fresh, welcoming atmosphere. Work is still continuing on the restaurant and reception areas, but it’s clear the property is being transformed beautifully. The food was full of flavour with very generous portions, and the staff made us feel welcome throughout our stay. Overall, we really enjoyed our visit and look forward to seeing the finished renovations in the future."
