Beautiful Country Cabin

We very much enjoyed this property. Well stocked, extremely comfortable and a hit with our 2 dogs. They loved the fenced in yard. Hope to enjoy it again as our son’s family lives in the area.

Great place

We were looking for somewhere near the zoo and mountain biking trails in the Uwharries. This ended up being the perfect location. The kids loved having the woods out back to roam around and we all loved the seclusion. The cabin was clean and well stocked. We would definitely stay here again.

Wonderful home, comfortable relaxing area, generously furnished. Close enough to town and attractions. We would recommend this home for anyone to stay. Pet friendly large fenced in back yard and plenty of open fields to walk our dog. We will be using it again if available in the future.

This was the best VRBO we have ever stayed in. It was extremely clean and well stocked, as well as comfortable. The huge yard was great for our pup and we had more than enough room to relax. The host communicated well and even checked to make sure everything was ok. We would definitely recommend this home!

The cabin is lovely and well appointed. Quiet and convenient to Uwharrie trails, which was main reason for our stay. The grounds are nice for games, porch sitting, grilling. Everything one needs for private getaway, family, friend group. Thank you so much for the memories!

I almost hate to tell how much we loved this house and property because it will make people want to stay here and make it harder for us to get another reservation! Absolutely loved everything about this place, it was clean, beautiful and well stocked, loved it was pet friendly and actually had a fenced in yard for the dogs. Hopefully we will get to stay again!

Just lovely

The house is a delightful place in a great location. It had everything we needed while my son attended life at the zoo camp at the NC Zoo. I especially appreciated the coffee bar and comfortable couches while I worked a few days during our stay. We were very happy to be able to bring our dog. She enjoyed being able to watch the birds and squirrels out of the very large windows. We would definitely stay there again any time we need to be in the area.

Wonderful

We were visiting family with our dog. This house was a perfect home base. Lots of places to walk to exercise our dog , then she’d sleep soundly by the fire place. We also went to Southern Supreme fruit cake, seagrove and Star Works . The home itself is very comfortable, well appointed and has everything that you expect to have. Very clean, comfortable beds and everything works! We look forward to staying here again on our next visit!

My kids are 15 and 12, not much impresses them. They loved the property. We sat on the back porch and watched deer, rabbits and a fox. Such a beautiful and clean property. There was wonderful communication. We are already thinking about coming back.

Great stay in N.C.!

We loved staying at this cottage. Plenty of wow factor with all the character of the house. The house had no issues, super clean & comfortable. Our 2 dogs had no reaction to the house that any other dogs were ever in it, they were as calm as being at home, no other pet scents left behind. I chose this cottage because of its close proximity to the zoo & pottery shops. We traveled over 500 mi. from Pennsylvania, & it was worth the trip & the dogs loved it too. Super Cute & Cozy

Our vacation rental was everything I hoped for. A quiet, clean, relaxing space for me and a big, safe, fun space for my son to explore. The additional fenced space in the back yard came in super handy at night to let the dog out. Having a first floor bedroom option with attached bath w/walk in shower made it so my elderly mom could come too. The zoo was about 15min away. My family loved this cottage and will stay here again!
