Pickerel Lake boasts calm waters with beautiful sunrises and sunsets. Perfect for water activities of all kinds including kayaking (3 available to use), fishing, water skiing, wakeboarding, and tubing. A public boat launch is right around the corner offering the opportunity to travel to Crooked Lake, Burt Lake, Mullet Lake and even Lake Huron through the inland waterway. Plenty of yard area to play on, and a large bonfire pit for evening s’mores. A gas grill is provided to cook up a perfect evening dinner.

Winter activities abound, too, with snow skiing at Boyne Highlands, Nubs Nob, or Boyne Mountain, each only 20-30 minutes away. Ice fishing or ice skating is right outside your door while just around the corner are state snowmobile trails.

A variety of shopping and dining options are available in Harbor Springs, Mackinac City, Mackinac Island and Petoskey, all within a 15-25-mile radius. There are plenty of potential excursions: biking trails, hiking through nature preserves, driving the famous Tunnel of Trees in Harbor Spring, winery tours and golfing at a variety of courses.
