This place is great. Close enough to urban shops, good value, easy access, roomy, modern feel... and if you are an oddball energy efficiency person, you'll find a minisplit AC system, energy recovery ventilator, heat pump clothes dryer. Kind of a niche value set, I realize, but appreciated by energy nerds!

We absolutely enjoyed our stay here. Communication was top notch, the Loft was awesome . The only thing I would say is if you need entertainment bring a laptop or tablet there are no tv’s in the loft, the WiFi was great though. We needed to be close to the Convention Center and it only took us about 10 minutes to walk there and Reading terminal. I would absolutely stay here again . Much better than a hotel!

Fun loft room with a single bed under the stairs for kids or smaller adults. Great location made it easy to walk. If you are driving, make sure to add parking because on street parking is difficult to find and parking spots for the property are secure but very limited.

Very industrial. Pipes showing everywhere. Small; concrete floors; no television; not a real nice area, but not too bad either. It’s not worth paying a lot for. I like having people around that greet you, say hello, etc. Room/“kitchen” was clean; big shower/bathroom.

The Poor Richard apt is perfect for 2 people. We didn’t cook but the kitchen is well suited. The apt was more spacious than I was expecting. The bed was comfy and very soft. When in Philly I would definitely stay here again. We were there for a concert at Underground Arts and it’s literally around the corner. Reading terminal market and the Convention center was a few blocks down the street.

If you are planning on modern, then this is not the place for you. However I think it was worth the price I paid. Include their daily parking fee in with your reservation. There is literally no place to park. I think the cars in the free spots are glued in place because they have not moved since my arrival. Kestrel parking is a small space so beware if you drive a large vehicle. The only changes, that could improve the stay for me was nicer towels and a heavier blanket. I will reccomend to certain acquaintances but not all. Decorating in mid century modern would have enhanced the historic look and feel that is definitely this area.

The room was super clean, everything we needed was laid out for us and texted to us as well, there were plenty of towels, the keypad entry was so convenient, the kitchen was stocked. The view was amazing!

The area surrounding the hotel is less than desirable, the area appears to be in the process of being redeveloped but it’s far from getting there. There were no services, groceries, liquor store, restaurants or any kind of stores close. I walked a mile round trip to get coffee in the morning. Speaking of coffee, We stayed 2 nights and they furnished us with one packet of coffee, no creamer and no refill the second day. There were no services of any kind, no fresh towels, no nothing! Also, no tv so brings a book. Lastly, not the place for someone that doesn’t like stairs. The only bedroom is in the loft and the climb of the metal staircase was challenging for my wife.

This was a pleasantly surprising choice. The units have a more at home feeling than a hotel or motel. It was a very relaxing atmosphere and liked the fact there wasn't a TV in the studio. Everything was super clean and they even provide basic necessities for cooking. I enjoyed not having the hassle of dealing with front desk check in and yet the quickness and attentivemess they provided when I needed something. If I were to offer a slight critque it would be that the pillows weren't great and the shower curtain was way too small and left too much of an area exposed. I would totally stay there again and already recommended it to friends and family.
