“This is a very misleading post. The rental is fine for two people and maybe a small child. We had four adults and my husband and I slept on a very uncomfortable, old, broken fold down couch. My two adult sons had to share a Murphy bed. There was no air mattress and even if there was, the apartment is so small I don’t know where you would put it. If you have 2 people, it is a lovely old studio apartment.”

“This place is a wonderful place to stay! Walking distance to all the things we wanted to see and do. Very quick response from host when asked questions. We highly recommend this studio!”

“Pet friendly & quiet. Small & dark (it’s a basement flat), but perfect for a resting place while exploring Philadelphia.”

“Stay has permanent residents with a big dog living above you. Between running around & barking in the middle of the night, couldn’t have 1 full night of sleep.”

“Pros: Great location, close to lots of transit (SEPTA regional rail and metro, plus Philadelphia Bus Station, which has greyhounds and other large buses). Lots of reasonably priced restaurants within walking distance. Host was very responsive throughout the entire stay. Cons: The upstairs neighbors' footsteps are loud at night. Bathrooms are lacking in shower toiletries - there was no shampoo or conditioner or body wash in one of the bathrooms, and only one body wash/shampoo combination soap in……

“Stayed here for 3 nights, it was very secure and I was able to pay extra and check in 5 hours, which I appreciated as I flew in for an event at UPENN and arrived on a red eye. It was definitely nice to have extra space and a stove / microwave, full refrigerator. The place was clean and bed comfortable. There isn't a ton of light and there is no washer / dryer...I appreciated the double door entry with secure codes as it felt secure, as a single female traveler, that was important. Also the unit……

“We had a lovely stay and this place looks just as advertised on the inside. Definitely walkable! Has a long flight of stairs to the unit, which we handled fine but we had large bags which wasn’t ideal. It is a quiet and peaceful little oasis. The only reason we didn’t give 5 stars was because of the check in and check out - the communication wasn’t super smooth, and it was hard to get into the unit because of the lockbox. But I think that shouldn’t discourage you from renting this nice place -……

“Worked well for our short stay in Philly! Very clean!”

“Pros:Spacious Interior: The layout and overall size of the unit were much larger than expected.Parking Availability: There was plenty of parking available right near the unit.Cons:Car Break-in: At approximately 8:00 AM, a man used a piece of broken concrete to shatter my driver-side window to steal from my car. Fortunately, I had parked right outside the unit to keep an eye on the vehicle and heard the glass break immediately. We caught the perpetrator in the act, detained him, and held him……

“This apartment is extremely comfortable and the location is fantastic. The host is very communicative. I would definitely stay here again.”

“Great, great host, clean and quiet!”
