Great location, tough checkin

The place was minimal, but really cool and in a great spot. Clean and comfortable. The intake process was clunky with additional forms, payments, processes outside of VRBO. In the end it all worked out and we had a great time.

The area is great and the apartment was bright clean and spacious. The management was not easy to deal with though. Had a hard time getting in to the property and then apartment door did not lock. They fixed it as we were leaving.

Location is great. If you are driving, 24 hour parking at Park America on 2nd St is very reasonable. However, this is not 'luxurious' accommodation by any definition. The host has spared every expense to equip it. The description of the space is meager so be aware that it is 3 flights of stairs to apartment. Communication by the host can be best described as surly. The host should be mindful that he is in the hospitality business.

This VRBO experience was not good. The communication with the owner/manager was not good. They often took a very long time to respond to my messages leading up to the check-in process. Additionally, they didn't respond to multiple needs once we arrived. The door never locked properly, the a/c didn't work. They said they would fix the door and they never did and the fans or a/c work never happened. The location was awesome but the place wasn't very clean either. Overall, it was frustrating and disappointing.
