This property is just outside of Chinatown. The listing is pretty accurate and I'd stay again. I have to point out a couple of things. The feeezer ice try wasn't the cleanest I've seen. The housekeeper needs to ensure that is rinsed and wiped down. In the upstairs bathroom probably 6-7ft up the wall in the shower needs tending to. The microfiber sheets in the upstairs bedroom should probably be upgraded. Not the biggest issue but if you're sleeping on them for more than 3 days its not ideal. I also think the couch needs tending to. Whoever stayed recently tried to mask an "accident" and the housekeeper and owner wasn't aware. Now that things have settled, you can tell the couch needs attention. Overall, great spot within walking distance of Reading Terminal and the nightlife. The owner was awesome in communication. The property along with others is attached to some sort of auto shop. Pretty sure that business isn't concerned with pest control. If you're looking for a vrbo reasonably priced and within walking distance on a good day from all things downtown Philly, pick this. We were out a few nights from 8pm to almost 2pm and were completely safe. We were three grown adult males and I'm pretty fit so people bothering us were in short supply. I did see younger couples and girl groups walking the area at night and nothing was suspect. One more thing, you can walk around the property with shoes off and not feel gross. Trust me, that matters.

Fun stay

We stayed here for a weekend family trip to Philly to run the Rocky race. We were able to walk to the museum of art for the start of the race. (20-25 min walk). You must find parking on the street, which was the only inconvenience. The house was great. It had a coffee maker, coffee and basic needs. We would stay again!

Convention Center Gem!

We attended a four-day convention at the Philadelphia Convention Center, and this home was conveniently located within walking distance of the Center, which was perfect for us. Parking was plentiful and cost-effective at $25 per day, compared to $79 per day at the hotels. The home was spacious, clean, and exactly as pictured. On the downside, the streets were dark and heavily populated by homeless individuals.

Nice Central Location

Our family was able to walk to all the museums, historical sites, etc in 20-30 minutes from this house. There is a Giant supermarket very near, and a Trader Joes just a bit farther we also were able to walk to. There is a nice elevated Rail Park across the street we enjoyed as well. The temperature was not controllable downstairs, and ran cold for anyone who might not like this. Also, the downstairs jacuzzi tub has a shower head, but no curtains, and no proper drainage, so I had to spend time mopping up water after every shower. The kitchen was nicely stocked for making dinners etc. Be sure to bring your own clothes soap if you want to use the washing machine.

Close to walk to Chinatown, NOTO, Reading Market. Place was clean and easy to find. Lister is very responsive and even dropped off extra toilet paper when we ran low.

Great for multiple or large families who want to see the sites. 25-30 min walk to Independence Hall. Street parking tricky, but not impossible to find. Two great restaurants (Dominican and pizza) 2 blocks away. Washer/dryer on site, but bring your own detergent. 1st floor bedroom had noise from above throughout the night, so bring a noise machine. Basement bedrooms were quiet. Very nice property.
