Room was super clean and very comfortable. The comfort of the bed was amazing. Plenty of restaurants and bars within walking distance. This room made an over night stay feel like a weekend retreat. Highly recommend and will definitely stay here again when I’m in town

This is a uniquely great hotel option near many shops, restaurants and history in Center City. The room is very well appointed and relatively quiet for being on South Street. A great deal compared with other fine hotels. Will definitely stay there again!

I have never experienced a hotel like this one before. It had everything I could possibly need or desire in a hotel room, anticipating my every requirement. The decor was delightful, featuring numerous thoughtful personal touches. I truly felt at home rather than just staying in hotel.

The virtual check in was super easy and we were allowed to check in an hour early. As soon as we walked into the foyer before taking the elevator to our room you can see the place was well kept and smelled recently clean! Room 302 was super spacious, clean and the decor was cute. The bed and pillows were perfect too along with the robes! Snack and drink selection to buy was reasonable and great too!! Would highly recommend and will be going back.

We stayed at Yowie for 2 nights and wish we could have stayed longer. We absolutely loved it and will certainly stay again. The property is in a great location. There was a parking garage nearby and we could also usually find street parking nearby. The lobby was clean and inviting, with interesting artwork. Our room was large, clean, minimally but beautifully decorated. The shower was huge and the soap, shampoo, and conditioner were high quality. The couch and bed were large and comfortable. Unfortunately, the shop was not open during our stay but it is easy to purchase items showcased in our room online. Thank you, Yowie! We will be back.

I will start by saying if you book through a third party site like hotels.com, always confirm with the hotel that they have your reservation- as we went to check in and our reservation was not received and had been double booked with fault to hotels.com- the YOWIE owners were incredible at rectifying the situation in a timely fashion and comping food for us/ holding our bags until we could check in and upgrading our room. I can’t speak enough about how excellent this boutique hotel is- clean, modern, unique, thoughtful details, staff are efficient and kind, couldn’t recommend more. Looking forward to our next stay here.

YOWIE was amazing! My boyfriend and I travelled to Philly for the eagles game. We were given an earlier check-in and they held our bags for us. They even brought them up to the room for us! The rooms were also beautiful and big. We also appreciated their recommendations such as the cool vintage shops. The only thing that was annoying was the app, it didn’t work. But we were easily able to reach out and text them with any questions/concerns.

I love Yowie hotel! I've stayed here 3 times during recent business trips to Philadelphia. I always stay Mon-Thurs so any concern of South Street noise has been a non-issue. I almost don't want to say what my favorite room is so nobody else books it (it's mine!) I am a solo female traveler so safety, comfort, convenience and cleanliness are of utmost importance. Check in is super easy and staff is just a text away if you need anything. The highlight of Yowie is how cool it is though. It feels like you are staying in your dream apartment that doesn't have any of your own junk in it. You can tell they didn't overlook any detail with the design and amenities. I will definitely be booking again.

The property is very unique. Rooms were immaculate. We had two issues. One was a leaky fridge. It was a small issue so no worries but they were very responsive. Second was the bed broke. This was a bigger issue obviously. The “invisible staff” was very apologetic and got us another room within minutes. We will absolutely be staying here again next time we have an overnight in Philly.

Lovely hotel and great experience. Only downside is that South Street gets quite rowdy on the weekend which you can hear in the rooms, but they provide ear plugs if you need them.
