"The pathway and stairs to the water was dangerous. My 11 year old slipped and fell trying to use the unsturdy steps and unsturdy rope rail. Thank goodness the neighbors were in town and let us use their pathway and stairs to get onto the water. The house was clean and roomy. There was no extra garbage bags for the kitchen but I brought my own anyway. The checkout process was not clear. No instructions were received via email. I didn’t know what I was supposed to do. Communication with the host was not good. Responses were not received in a timely manner. I booked via Vrbo.com but was getting email communication from both Vrbo and Vacasa that was sometimes confusing and contradictory. I don’t recommend bringing kids due to the steep and dangerous access to the water. Recommend adults only. Other than that, the property was gorgeous. "

"This place was so wonderful for our girls trip! We loved cooking with a view, using the kayaks, and enjoying the hot tub. Communication was easy. Will definitely book again!"

"The cabin is in a very peaceful place with a beautiful view of the lake. There is a lot of stairs from where you park to go down into the house, and then more stairs within the house to get to the floor with the kitchen, not a criticism, just a heads up! The place was clean but looked as if the cleaning had been done a week or so before our stay, based on dust accumulation and some dead spiders around. The front and back deck also had quite a bit of debris near the door which also made me wonder when the last cleanup had been done. The counter height chairs by the kitchen were very wobbly, and one of the legs looked like it could break off as it was missing some screws. My kids sat on them just fine but I was afraid to use them as an adult. The last thing I will note is that I could not find a regular coffee maker anywhere! I brought coffee grounds to use to make coffee but only found a Keurig machine with no Keurig pods provided. I wouldn’t typically expect pods to be provided but I did not think to bring them as I was expecting a coffee maker to be available for ground coffee. So either providing pods for the Keurig or a regular coffee maker would be really helpful in the future! These are all pretty minor things, overall we enjoyed our stay!"

"Hands down the best house I've rented in the state, it was so well designed, thoughtfully stocked, comfortable and just cool! Fantastic location on the water, we kayaked, swam, cooked meals on the grill and in the kitchen (the pans and kitchen goods in great shape), relaxed on the deck (great furniture!). The beds were comfortable, all the linens great quality. I would definitely rent this house again. "
