「I didn’t want to leave! They were amazing there. Staff were incredibly nice, and helpful when I had questions. I got to meet a few locals who welcomed me to their table and conversation. Everyone at the hotel made me feel welcome and like family. There is a nice pub that is a part of it. The food was great, and for vegetarians they had tasty options. Breakfast in the morning was delicious. I can’t wait to go back!」

「Every time we come back to the Royal, it never ceases to disappoint. The staff are the people who make this such a special and charming hotel. The warmest of welcomes and we were so well taken care of. Attentive and polite customer services, similar to that of Ashford Castle, that seems to be lost in many establishments these days. The only complaint we had, was that the bedroom was cold even with the small radiator up to its maximum temperature, and the fires had not been lit in the bar area...

「Our stay at Friars Wynde was a treat x Staff was extremely helpful and friendly. Room was warm and had everything you need .Being situated in the city centre makes it easy to access anything and everything you need Overnight was about a 5 minute walk from hotel but hotel has parking at back of hotel to use to take luggage through back entrance. Definitely going to stay there again really enjoyed our stay there ❤️」
