“Our room - in the annex - was lovely and squeaky clean...and OMG THE VIEW! We enjoyed the pool and breakfast was delicious. If we return to Menaggio, we will stay at the Hotel Royal.”

“The pool lounger system is the one major flaw here, and it needs fixing. Guests go out around breakfast, leave belongings on loungers, and effectively reserve them for the entire day - often while the loungers sit empty for hours. At peak times, this creates long queues, and you can expect to wait 1-2+ hours for a lounger (even though many sit empty) simply because others are hoarding spots. Management needs to enforce a clear time limit for unattended loungers and stop guests from “saving”……

“Fantastic location across the street from Grand Hotel Villa Serbelloni and a very short walk to the downtown lakefront. Spacious, clean and modern - just a very nice and comfortable apartment. The pool area is simply wonderful - modern and well designed. Pool area is private, with a tree-covered hill behind, green area to one side and the Basilica of St. Giacomo on the other side. Next door to a coffee, pastry and on-the-go food restaurant - everything cooked fresh daily. Mariana and Giada……

We weren’t able to arrive on time for check-in, but they assisted us right away and provided clear instructions so we could complete the check-in smoothly, which we really appreciated. The property itself is beautiful and very well maintained. Our room was really nice, comfortable, and clean. We also enjoyed the breakfast every morning. Overall, we had a wonderful experience……

“When I purchased the room it had different pictures of the studio. It never said that the red couch in the living room was sofá couch and that's where you would sleep. It said it had one bedroom , and it still does , there is no bedroom . The bed was a pull out bed from the couch . When I got to the room , there was no sofá couch. I messaged the owner and they said it was an error from Expedia. Ihave pictures to show as proof of what I booked. They charged me about 400 dollars a night which is……

“Very cute apartment in the center of Bellagio with many amenities and central location, but bed mattress was too soft and uncomfortable, gave us backaches just after a few hours. Also because it is in the center of town, you can hear people on the street talking constantly until late at night. If you even open the window you'll see all of the people right below you.”

“Our stay here was incredible. The view of the lake from our room and the dining room was breathtaking! The staff were all so kind and helpful, especially Bianca at the front desk. She made us feel so welcome and made shuttling to dinner so easy. Thank you for an amazing stay!”

“The room was a disaster; worn down bed, bathroom dirty, mold in the shower, etc … The girl at the reception was friendly and took the time to explain the neighborhood. But else the stay was not worth its money. The pictures on hotels.com are from a few years ago and do not show the current state of the room(s). Try to avoid this place if possible.”
