“The location was beautiful. The rooms are VERY large. I was not aware that the room did not have a/c or fan (but I did not read the details, I just assumed it did because of the pricing) the weather was not super hot this day so it was ok, but on a warmer day it definetly needs it, also no TV at least in our room, the bathroom had some leaking in the shower. The beds and pillows were ok. Maybe we just assumed beacuse of the price that it would be a little more premium. But the experience was Ok……

“The place itself is very beautiful. We had a nice breakfast and got to see the butterfly garden. My kids enjoyed it a lot.”

“They just finished painting the pool edge...looks great. This is our 3 year at the Trapp Family Inn. The only thing that was different was it was warmer than usually in San Jose than in previous years. The rooms were definitely warmer, but we were glad we had ceiling fans. Service, Food, and hospitality were great. We'll be BACK!”

“This was our second time staying here and we love this place! Staff is very helpful, and made the effort to communicate with us, using our very limited Spanish. Trees and flowers are beautiful here. Many choices on Free Breakfast menu, and food is very good. We love staying in this place and know that the staff takes great pride in keeping the natural beauty of Costa Rica, and providing excellent service.”

“I enjoyed the fire pit and the jacuzzi, just a little bothered with the hot water going out and we had to use cold water. The farm animals were lovely especial the baby donkey”

“Overall, positive experience! The room with three queen beds was perfect for our family of 5. We loved the airy lobby, enjoyed the local brews at the attached restaurant, and the continental breakfast was filling and delicious.”

“Gorgeous and unique property close to the Poas Nacional Park. The views were breathtakingly beautiful! We stayed in the Junior Dome and had a relaxing and zen like stay. The property was very cute and quiet in June. There was a nearby dog barking nonstop from a neighbor but not much you can do about that.”

“This is definitely a 3 star resort. Nothing about it gives 5 star so please don’t expect it! The staff were sweet and helpful but I’ll tell you to stay here if you would like average over priced American food 😒, WiFi going out every day, an unclean out dated pool, and hard mango’s for a $10 🙄. My family and I spent our last two days at The Spring Resort & Spa at Arenal. It was definitely worth the Money. If you’re looking to enjoy yourself without going out every day this resort is not it.……

“We chose the hotel for it's convenient location in the city of Orotina , where we were visiting relatives . The staff was good , perhaps a little inattentive on check out. The reception office was closed and I had to look around for someone to return my key. Be advice there's is a very noisy soccer academy right next door . We were alocated on room 11 , close to the academy . It can be an issue if you are trying to rest early evening .”

“Schönes Zelt mitten im Regenwald. Die Anfahrt war allerdings etwas anstrengend. Deshalb sind wir auch beide Tage dort geblieben und haben vor Ort Wanderungen gemacht oder waren am Pool. Der ist klein, aber sehr hübsch angelegt. Frühstück und Abendessen waren sehr gut. Wifi nur im Hauptgebäude. ”

“I stayed here when I flew into San Jose. It's close to the airport, it's in a safe gated neighborhood. Dinner is available, breakfast is included. I will stay here again when I depart Costa Rica.”
