Das Haus war alles andere als sauber; überall hingen Spinnweben, die Duschköpfe waren kaputt und Töpfe und Geschirr so schmutzig, dass man sie nicht anfassen wollte. Die Möbel hingen durch, und die Fassade war renovierungsbedürftig.
