I thought it would be more in the woods but there were houses all around but with the trees you couldnt really see the other houses that well. It was a short drive to eating and shopping areas.

First ever VRBO and it was WONDERFUL

From the moment my family found the listing to when I booked the unit it was easier than I had expected. Communication with the host was efficient and helpful. This property is amazing! It was the cleanest rental I've stayed in. It had everything you could possibly need for a fun relaxing stay. The hot tub was wonderful and big enough for quite a few people. There is enough room for your entire party to spread out. We had an amazing time. Thank you for allowing us to stay in your home!

Great for family vacation

Cabin was just as pictures/described in listing. Communication with owner and check in/out was simple. Kitchen and all supplies well stocked. Just personal preference we would probably select a cabin with better Mountain View’s next time , but again this was as advertised and very nice if you don’t mind a woodsy view. And also a plus was the convenience in location to everything. Would definitely recommend this cabin for large family trip

It was close enough to the parkway for easy access to fun but far enough away to enjoy a quiet relaxing night. We had 14 people in our group ranging from infant to adult and we all enjoyed this property. The host was quick to answer all questions.

Great for family gatherings

We gathered several families with kids to celebrate my Dad’s 70th birthday. The kids enjoyed the game room. The two outdoor decks were tranquil spaces to eat and relax and felt private. We loved the hot tub. Tim communicated with us promptly when we had questions. Highly recommend!

Perfect Family Getaway

We loved Lazy Bear Chalet. It was perfect for our family of 8. The location is tucked among the trees but still close to everything. The kitchen was equipped with everything we needed for our stay. Beds were comfortable. The back deck off the living/dining area is beautiful with some medium range views. Tim was quick to respond to any inquiries I had. I highly recommend this property and we will re-book if our future travel plans bring us back to Pigeon Forge.

Amazing getaway

Loved this property. The layout is perfect for elderly people like I had with me. Even though the chalet is has 3 floors, the main floor where you enter the chalet has everything you need, there isn’t any stairs to navigate. The owners were in contact with us during our stay to make sure everything was going smoothly and to see if we needed anything. The chalet was very clean and inviting. The owners have even subscribed to different carriers on the TV so you had many options to choose from. I recommend this chalet and I will definitely be coming here again.

We were there to celebrate our family. The first night we discovered a serious mechanical problem. We reported it to the host and crews were on hand very quickly to take care of it. We went on doing our family things while they worked, and experienced only minor inconvenience while they worked. I would happily use this host again.

Beautiful scenery!! Perfect Location!!

We stayed in the Lazy Bear Chalet for a cousins Girls trip. We all loved the cabin, plenty of room for us to spread out. The kitchen is adequately equipped for our cooking needs. The cabin was very clean and nicely decorated. Communication was great and concerns handled in a timely manner. We will definitely stay in this cabin again!. We all loved that the cabin was set back in the trees. The driveway is quite steep but only a short distance of it. I have a lower profile van and it scraped going up, But all of our other vehicles had no issues. You can comfortably fit 4 vehicles. 5 if you don’t mind shuffling around.
