Eagles Retreat, a 4000 SQ FT private retreat with over 1500 sq ft of wrap around wood deck and seating areas plys separate flagstone patio, with tables and chairs. Nestled among the beautiful Ponderosa Pines in Strawberry, north of Payson, Arizona. A short 1.5 hour drive from Phoenix, enjoy the peace and tranquility as your closest neighbor is the Tonto National Forest.

The thoughtful design of Eagles Retreat comfortably sleeps 28, with 5 private bedrooms, 3 full baths (master bath has a jacuzzi tub), a loft, family room with hide-a-beds, living room with hide- a- beds, wood-burning fireplaces in family room, electric fireplace in living room, and large cathedral-style windows, gorgeous decks and unbelievable views of the Ponderosa Pines. We even supply the firewood!!
With the modern, fully stocked kitchen, entertain your closest friends and family outside on the 315-degree wrap around wood deck, or on the natural flagstone patio by the beautiful fountain. Serve dinner in the dining room that seats 10 and a secondary table that seats 8.

Remove personal items, remove leftover food and drinks and take out the rubbish

- place all used sheets, towels and pillowcases in hampers and place in the laundry room. (Please do not include comforters -or blankets unless they are dirty)
- put furniture and other things back where you found them - garbage container on the breezeway is for your convenience- please empty it and all trash from the cabin into the large green dumpster

Our group of 5 couples absolutely loved Eagles Retreat! We had Elk come thru every morning and evening, a couple of them would hang out with us for quite awhile everyday of our stay. The house was perfect for our big group, lots of space to hang out, inside and outside, kitchen is spacious and well equipped. The guys enjoyed the game room too, it has something for everyone!Our host, Jeanay, was very helpful with any questions we had before and during our stay. Our group enjoyed nearby activities including, fishing, golfing, and a trip to Tonto Natural Bridges Park.It is unamious with our group, we will be going back for a stay at Eagles Retreat!

Our family of 12, which included adults and 4 grans (ages 9-15) stayed 3 nights and 4 days. We had the best time! Not only is the home beautiful but the surrounding area is breath taking. The wildlife which comes to visit several times a day was an added bonus. The home owner was so helpful, making sure we knew all the important information regarding directions to the home, ideas of what to bring, things to do and all the answers to FAQ. The home is not only fully furnished but the fact the panty is loaded with every kitchen item and spice you could ask for is so helpful. We will for sure be booking another trip as soon as possible.

We had a wonderful time at the Eagle’s Retreat. It’s very spacious and the setting is beautiful. It sits right next to the forest, and lots of animals come to visit. The chairs on the patio were super comfy, and it was so peaceful just sitting out there, enjoying the outdoors. The kitchen has everything you need. The game room kept the kids very busy. It’s close to all kinds of restaurants, small shops and outdoor activities. We truly enjoyed our visit.

Great place for all ages!

This home was a dream for me and my team!!! My family consists of little ones who had so much fun on the titer totter, slide and swings. My mother who is in a wheel chair was able to get around and utilize the middle bathroom. The Elk were absolutely the best part of the trip! And the owner who is kind, friendly and quick to respond. The trip felt magical.

We had the BEST time. The cabin was GREAT! It was very roomy with space for all of us to play games, put together puzzles, and just hang out. The game room was amazing, the kids and adults loved it. Jeanay was very responsive to all the questions I had. Highly recommend this cabin!

Every detail of this luxury cabin has been thoughtfully designed to provide a five-star experience. The kitchen is one of the nicest and most well stocked kitchens I have ever used. Back to Basics Mini Retreat

This was the perfect location for our mini retreat. The kitchen was ideal for our time together to cook and talk. The deck and surrounding property was also petfect for our mindfulness acrivites. . Everything was just what we needed.
