「The Starry Night is a bright, tidy unit above the garage, less than a 10-minute bike ride from the ferry and the main drag. Becca and Brian are excellent hosts. It's quiet, spacious, and a great home base for exploring the island. Would be glad to make a return visit!」

「We were just here for one night, but it is a very nice, clean, place to stay. Good location right by town so you can walk to most everything you will go to on the island in 10 minutes. We didn’t have time to use it, but it has a nice screened in porch as well.」

The rental was the perfect size for just the two of us (but can also accommodate 2 more), and the location of the property made it an ideal "landing spot" as we explored the community, much of it within easy walking distance. 「We loved staying at Eagle’s Rest! The view is spectacular, especially for sunsets! You can see Lake Michigan and High Island from inside the cabin, and you get an even better view from the deck and fire ring. We really liked the cabin too, even with the unfinished bits, it was so cozy and charming. Everything was really clean, although we recommend bringing your own blankets in addition to sheets and towels. Be prepared for a ton of bugs — you will need bug spray, hats, and long socks to enjoy...

「If you're looking for a mind boday and soul reset, this is your place. The host absolutely has put tons of thought into this beachfront property. Thd view you get of the lake never gets old. Im gonna miss watching the sunrise and even the one late night storm through the floor to ceiling windows was amazing. We explored the island and found some other beautiful beaches during our stay as well. Our stay definitely exceeded our expectation and we are looking forward to another stay」

「The host’s communications were all prompt and helpful. The property was exactly as pictured - darling & clean. The view was the best part. We were saddened that the lake was high so no beach front property for the kids to play at. (Mother Nature’s fault - NOT the hosts) We did go to Lake Michigan, which was close.
