The staff was very accommodating as well, especially Marlin who drove us around town and even included friends that stayed down the beach. 「We loved our stay at umaya. The beach is awesome. The whole pool area/chairs/dock and set up are awesome too. So great that you can also borrow Kayaks and paddle boards (which we did) to have morning paddles when the ocean is calmer. The room was spacious and clean. The hotel itself is beautiful, the staff helpful and accommodating and the food at the hotel was good as well. There are also many restaurants and a supermarket (10 min drive) close to umaya without having to always make the drive...
