「Food was very good, reception very helpful, room very quirky. I had to book a family room as last one left - was the only room on the top floor built into the eaves. Two double bedrooms, very spacious and nice and quiet. Be aware that the rooms are in an apartment style building (bit like Butlins) across the car park. There is no lift - I was on the 2nd floor and struggled a bit with my suitcase as I have a bad hip (age!). I would also recommend to the hotel that they put some grab bars in...

「Unexpected damage deposit required. Check in process and access to the property was not obvious. Room was ok. Old instant coffee was not good, I had to get coffee bags from a local gas station instead. Location is a ~10 minutes walk from a handful of restaurant places.」

「Close to where we needed to be,comply bed. Parking is chargeable £8.20-24hrs Says restaurant,but no breakfast served. Loud music going on 1.30am Our door was broken,was told at check in,we was given impression someone was coming to look,no one did. Could not turn the water down to the shower,far too hot,so gave it a miss. Bathroom door did not shut,debris from that door in the bathroom.」

「DO NOT STAY HERE. I had booked this property a week in advance and on the day i was told there was no room for me as they did not block out the bookings when they were fully booked. They claimed they had sent a message on the portal “hours in advance” However, prior to my arrival there was no message or attempt to contact myself to let me know that the property was already booked up. Thos is quite dangerous considering i am a young female travelling to a coty i do not know in the dark. I am yet...

「Couldon Lodge is a lovey old place, full of character. The gardens are huge and the outlook across them and the fields beyond very relaxing, especially on a nice afternoon, when you've returned from work. The bed was comfortable and clean. The continental Breakfast arrangements are convenient and plenty of choice.」

「Room was clean and nicely presented. There is significant building work taking place so restaurant not open (which they did pre-warn me about,), and skeleton staff. However, the staff were super helpful and friendly. Everything closes at 8pm ( bar, front gates etc) so not a place to stay if you are looking to relax of an evening outside of your room. 」

「The evening meal available consisted of a vegetarian or meat three course meal presented as a buffet.I thought the quality and value for money was excellent.Staff in the restaurant were very helpful and attentive as were all other staff in the hotel. 「Excellent value for money. Communication and access was easy - remember to message for code to lockbox. Parking was great with loads of secure space out the back. This place has been recently done up with a nice finish. Everything was really clean including bathroom, bed and kitchenette (except the grey thing on top of the bed had some stains). Bed was really comfy and fresh. Location wise it was perfect for what i needed as it was close to the arena and near a lot of shops. Only downside...

「Make sure that your booking hasn't been cancelled by a disgruntled staff member before you arrive. The room was nice and the bed comfortable. Breakfast was ok, it was greasy and I didn't dare try the egg because it looked only just cooked yet the yolk was hard. The other items were nice.」

「The facilities of the bathroom is worse! The water pressure is very low and after taking a bath, the whole bathroom get wet .」
