Sunny, spacious floor plan with great views and a perfect location! Just a one-block stroll to the white sands of exclusive Mamitas Beach, and a stone's throw to Playa's quaint restaurants, boutiques, and nightlife on 5th Avenue. Enjoy all the amenities of the two public beach clubs at Mamitas Beach: chair/bed rentals, bars, restaurants, restrooms, spa services, volleyball and swimming pools. With 1,500 square feet indoors and another 1,100 square feet outdoors, this flat has plenty of room to spread out and relax! Travertine floors, granite countertops, Weber gas grill, and air conditioning are just the beginning of the list of luxuries you'll find here. This end unit boasts oversized balconies off of the living room and bedrooms. In true penthouse style, the incredible roof top solarium includes a splash pool, half bath, and outdoor shower. The complex also features secure and private underground parking.

This vacation home, Casa de Belleza (translated: Beautiful House) is located right off of the popular beach, Mamitas Beach, giving you great ocean views and easy access to beach volleyball, water sports rentals and beach clubs. It is also in the heart of Playa del Carmen, with access to the old town and the lively, growing new development in the northern part of the city. Adjacent to this home are beautiful mangroves and an old, retired lighthouse that keeps watch over you. The living space is extra large (for Playa), yet it's a relatively small condominium building (24 units), giving you privacy and a sense of home. The oversized upstairs terrace has been home to many all-night jam sessions under the stars with local musicians. What memories of a lifetime will you make in your home away from home?

Want to explore outside of Playa del Carmen? No matter which way you travel, there is something for everyone. Go south and visit the Mayan ruins of Tulum or Coba, see giant sea turtles and old canons snorkeling in Akumal Bay, swim in the dozens of fresh-water cenotes, zipline, cave dwell, float down a river, or see a folksy dinner show in one of three nature/water parks. Go north and play golf on a Greg Norman, Nick Price or P.B. Dye golf course, tour around the island of Isla Mujeres in a golf cart, swim with the whale sharks off the island of Holbox, or take in the night life of Cancun. Go east by ferry and enjoy world-class scuba diving and snorkeling off the island of Cozumel. A perfect beach holiday!

First of all - the photos do not do this condo justice. It is absolutely beautiful and tastefully decorated, with the comforts and amenities of home. It is sprawling, with plenty of room for a family of 4, and the proximity to the beach, the shops, and nightlife were ideal for a relaxing holiday. The miniature Christmas tree was a nice welcoming touch as well. I spent nearly one week here with my parents and my sister, and we were sad to leave it. Check-in was a breeze. The owner was away, so I spoke with I believe her son, Eric before I even landed in MX, about places to run errands - like getting some grocery shopping done, as well as places to listen to music and dance (Zenzi is amazing, go check it out if you stay here!). He was responsive to my messages (even about having to shorten my reservation) , and the recommendations from a local's POV were much appreciated by me and my whole family! I rented a car because I wanted to do a bit of traveling to Cancun and Tulum (PDC is located conveniently right in the middle of the two locations), however if you JUST want the PDC experience, you definitely do not need a car. There is no shortage of shopping, bars, and restaurants just blocks away. The condo and surrounding areas felt very safe/secure to me, and by the end of the stay I felt comfortable navigating the area by myself. Tip - if you stay here - buy some beers from the OXXO down the road, and enjoy the night time stargazing on the beach or on the rooftop terrace. Just beautiful! Would love to revisit this spot someday.

A nice condo in PDC but lots of construction

This was clearly one of the nicest places to stay in Playa del Carmen 5 to 7 years ago. It is a lovely penthouse apartment with all the amenities one needs for a great vacation. The unit is showing its age in several ways: The smell from the bathroom sewer unaddressed despite several messages during our stay. we were told "It is common in PDC" . Apparently the local plumbers do not know about adequate vents? Fortunately for us the smell was not bad the first few days when the front bedroom was being used by our kids. The hulking 5 floor building being constructed between this 3 floor condo and the beach. Apparently the zoning was changed from 3 floors to 5 recently? This unit used to have a nice beach view from the 3rd floor rooftop. Now it is buried by the monster building being constructed between it and the beach. Be aware the pix with this unit on VRBO are deceptive. It looks like there is a green zone next to the unit. That is a eco-hotel and the street below is a construction zone. The relentless construction noise. It does stop from 7pm to 7am or so each day. Otherwise this is a lovely place to stay. PDC is a great town, many restaurants, bars and stores. The beach is nice,and only a short walk from the unit; just take the provided rusty beach chairs with you when you go to the beach. The "Beach clubs" that provide you a lounger and crummy food for a huge fee are a complete rip off. I feel very sorry for the owners in this condo building. Their equity and peace has been disrupted by the apparent lack of zoning laws in Mexico. If you decide to stay here make sure the price figures in the shotcomings as well as the benefits.

Best location, great space and tons of amazing outdoor space

We had a great time in this place; Jean was great to deal with and always attended our requests fast. The apartment itself is very well appointed and clean, big spaces, beds are great with good linens, bathrooms spacious with good quality towels, well furnish throughout. But the major pluses are the outdoor spaces and the location (right in Mamita’s village) a block from the beach and many restaurants! Was so nice to wake up and sit in the large balcony and enjoy the view and warm weather or arrive in the afternoon and relax in the rooftop area or the splash pool. I can’t wait to be back!

Love this condo!

Thank you so much for sharing your condo with us. Our family of six spent the week before Christmas enjoying the Playa del Carmen area and had a fabulous time. Upon opening the door of this condo, it was immediatedly noted that they had set up a small Christmas tree for us. We knew that right there, they were vested in that we have a fabulous stay by this small gesture. The condo is large and spacious. Two bedrooms, 2 1/2 bathroom inside. Full kitchen with "EVERYTHING" you will need. Very clean and modern feel. Your family will enjoy every aspect of the vacation rental. Lots of towels and linens, I think we were the first to use the new beach towels that were provided. The outside living area is just as spacious. On the main floor is a large patio area with lots of furniture and a BBQ. The thing that we like the best about this patio area, is at the end of the day, after being in the sun this patio faces away from the afternoon sun. Making it enjoyable for hours without feeling the heat. The upstairs patio area has its own bathroom, entertaining area and a tub. So if you want the sun for tanning and etc. This is your spot. The beach is a short 5 minute walk. Even a small convenience store along the way to pick up those cold beverages. Our family is very adventurous, everyday we ventured to new beaches, ruins, cenotes, excursions and etc. Staying down in Play del Carmen puts you so much closer to these adventures than staying in Cancun. Check this condo out!! You will not be disappointed and if you need any help they are also very accommodating to your needs. Enjoy your time at this rental.

Above and beyond what we imagined!

This condo is seriously amazing. We felt right at home and were really sad when it was time to leave. The pictures don't even do it justice. Its big bright and open very modern and clean. Rooms are large and the deck space is amazing specially the upper deck with Bbq area. Private parking underground was awesome. We felt very secure inside the building at all times. The location is amazing. 1 block away from 5th ave and 1 block to Mamitas Beach. Couldn't ask for anything better. Thank you Jean for having this place available and thank you Sergio for your kind help.
