Ocean View from my balcony. 5 minute walk downstairs to the beach area. Pool is good. Breakfast is basic but delicious. Room is super spacious as well as restroom. AC is excellent.

Fed rice and beans for breakfast. Was charged for requesting toast. Did not have a choice of how I want my eggs. It was an inconvenience to ask for anything different for breakfasr. Room did not have shampoo. I went to the market to buy shampoo. The pool was filthy. Don't pay extra for the swim out because you won't be able to use the filty, mosquito infested pool most of the time. They have daily passes for locals who are loud, inconsiderate and take over the pool with many screaming children with water pistols. Secure parking is limited and previous reviews complained that their rental car got scratched. Walk down to beach has 100+ steps and is unsafe.

I got a room with a nice view. That was about it. The soap dispensers were empty, the room smelled of I don't know what. There was no hair dryer, i asked for one and they said no. The pool water seems quite dirty. When i came back to my room, on the first night my lock broke so i had yo wait 45 mins for someone to break it. Finally moved to a better room with still no hair dryer. The hotel is in a good spot with a nice view. But it is rundown and needs a lot of work. The staff doesn't seem to care or is not overly helpful. Very bad experience thank God i was only there 1 night

Staff was nice. Rooms are clean but sparse. Only beds, closet, and counters/ desk. No chairs. There is also NO Elevator and no staff offered to help with bags, so beware that you may be carrying your bags up and down several stairs. The hotel is a short walk to the marina and Playa Flamingo, but note this includes going up and down a very steep hill.

The hotel is in such a beautiful location, the staff at the restaurant and bar were absolutely wonderful, aswell as the front desk staff. Only thing I would point out is to make sure you bring your own water as there wasn’t water bottles or etc. Poolside bar is wonderful too!

The staff were good/friendly.The one bar/resturant staff, Dylan was exceptional and the one Security Guard was very friendly and helpful. You can see that this hotel was lovely in it's day but it is looking tired now. The pool needs attention and the room bathrooms need a good scrubbing, and the ceiling fans need to be cleaned. The patio furniture needs to be restained. However, the resturant food was very good.

the room and the hotel were nice enough. the best thing about the place is that it has a great beach with nice snorkeling, just right there. we stayed there for 6 nights and they would not clean the room while we stayed. the place is also in need of some serious maintenance. we also had a minor theft (cash and a credit card), that we are pretty certain happened from our room and the mgmt was not very interested or helpful.

Excellent stay at the Dunama Hotel in Playa Flamingo. Rooms cleaned daily, comfortable beds, sliding glass doors to ocean view decks, tasty meals, stairs to black sand beach for swimming and snorkeling. Nice pool and swim up bar, fun lobby with early evening music. Lobby managers can help with arranging offsite sailing, etc.
