We had a great stay. It is easy to walk from hotel to beach and in the afternoons we enjoyed the pools. We had a villa so we cooked breakfast ourselves (there is a small grocery store next door) and sat in patio to eat. Air conditioning and hot water worked great. Note that the hotel does NOT provide any beach towels and makes you sign something promising not to bring theirs to beach. Haven’t seen this before…

Villas Huertares was a great place to stay if you are looking for something off the tourist trail. A very nice place and I especially enjoyed the option to prepare our own meals as I have a family of 6.

L'hôtel est très vieillissant et mal entretenu. Le secteur en général semble dater des années 80 et n'a pas été rénové. L'offre de restauration est très états-unienne et couteuse. Globalement, l'hôtel et le secteur Playa Hermosa sont très décevants. Le point positif de cet escale fut la splendeur de la mer. L'eau est chaude, le fond est doux et les vagues agréables.

The check in process was easy. Infact when we checked in the A//C was malfunctioning in one of the rooms. We were swiftly moved into another room. Gated parking with security was excellent. The whole hotel is very secure. We appreciate that. The pool is very nice, clean well maintained. The little restaurant attached to the hotel has very good food and affordable. Nice service as well. The rooms and condos in general were very clean and well maintained. Each bathroom was updated very nicely. The kitchen/dinning area and bedrooms are dated. Clean functional in my opinion could use an upgrade. But for the price its a fair trade off. The kitchen is stock with everything you need to cook any meal. The walk to the beach is easy. Very nice beach i may add. As well next to the restaurant is a little super market which is very convenient for the majority of your needs. I did not rate as a 5 believing there is always room for improvement. Overall we had a very nice stay. I would certainly recommend this hotel to anyone coming to this area. Thank you for making our experience enjoyable.

Las instalaciones muy deterioradas. Puertas falta mantenimiento urgente. Actitud de recepcionista nada amable. Al llegar me comentó que tenía desayuno incluido, al siguiente día regresé por los tickets de alimento y me dijo que no estaba incluido. Mostré mi reservación que indicaba desayuno incluido, lo cual ignoró totalmente. Si vas en plan de estar fuera todo el día, es buena opción, pero no esperes amabilidad tampoco buenas instalaciones .
