"Excellent centrally located hotel. Beautiful decor and great amenities"

"Rude staff: The hotel's rooftop bar is open to the public and - by the staffs' own comments - have had issues with unpleasant "clientele" (not paying bar tabs, restaurant bill etc). You can expect to be interrogated by doormen whether you're actually staying at the hotel, be required to pay the food bill before you've even started eating and elbowed out of the way to restock the buffet breakfast. Rooftop bar: Food is genuinely awful, probably akin to a microwave meal. Any ambience is destroyed by tourists thrusting their camera over your shoulder to get a better photo of the view. It's also incredibly busy. Pool isn't open until June, so bear that in mind if that's a factor in choosing this hotel."

"The room had everything we need to enjoy our stay. The bed of the deluxe room is huge, a king-plus size, and very comfortable. Hotel is near both, Puerta del Sol and Gran Vía, that was very convenient. Staff was courteous and breakfast was very good. I really recommend Hotel Liabeny."

"Very clean, lovely rooms. Bar area is lovely. Only issue is they don’t have enough staff in the lobby bar area, drinks orders take a very long time and often things were forgotten. Staff were not attentive enough in the lobby area. We often had to ask twice for our drinks."

"This property is located right in the middle of Gran Via. Very good rooms. Courteous staff. It was a pleasant stay at this place. Only issue we had was with the washer/dryer. While it washed clothes, the multiple dryer cycles didn’t dry the clothes at all."
